It does all get really confusing.

I used to assume that all dosages were basically 50% of advertised (which was pretty much a good rule of thumb all through the 90s, I found) until the Millennium Hoffmans first came on the scene in 2000 - word on the street was that they were '200 mics for the year 2000', which I initially scoffed at because there hadn't been any blotters that strong on the mass market for years: but once I tried one I was convinced, and then it turned out that according to lab tests that was exactly what they were...and they were massively distributed all over Europe and beyond.

But in the long term that probably only added to the confusion, because of course subsequent Hoffman prints haven't been nearly that strong, but the idea that Hoffman=200 mics was quite prevalent for a few years.

I think the Freddie's and Dalai lama's probably are accurately dosed around 200-220 judging from people's reactions to them, although I haven't had them.

I hadn't heard that the Freddies were fluff - would be fascinated to know where that info came from...I've only ever had US acid described as 'fluff' (now that's what you want for 100% accurate dosage - grateful dead family fluff...always dosed at 100 mics / hit...it's such a pleasure to be able to work out exactly what you're taking).
 
Quality of the acid is all important. The best stuff needle point crystal dosed you shouldn't get that sore neck the next day I don't think and should feel properly refreshed. Not to mention the trip itself should be far cleaner and clearer. The last 2 times I've done acid it's gave me a sore neck and no afterglow.

It's not that simple I think. There may be a difference in the the quality of experience between different crystal types, but it's a subtle psychic difference in the quality of the trip which can't be associated directly with physical symptoms. All those kinds of physical symptoms can easily be experienced from needlepoint, just as they were routinely reported in the literature on pure pharmaceutical Sandoz LSD back in pre-prohibition times: it's about your physical condition, your posture, your diet, your internal energy flow (if you believe in that stuff), etc...if anything the intensity of needlepoint can make it more likely that some people will experience certain kinds of physical symptoms. You're right about the clarity, and it's possible that the lack thereof may provoke bad posture and therefore aches and pains in some users, but it's a complete myth that quality acid = no physical symptoms.
 
avatars being sold with alleged 200ug, anyone confirm or deny?

also will be my first time. in the view of harm reduction, will I be ok taking a whole tab.

I'm 5 foot 10 and 16 stone fwiw
 
they are good tabs, must be some left overs, was told all avatars were gone now, dont think weight comes into play on acid really but not 100% tho, they are not 200ug, about 150 tops imo, but still brilliant trips :D

Ask if they can tell you what batch it is and we will be able to be a little more accurate with dosage. They are good tabs for a first time though, recommend them. :)
 
thanks. just one will do me fine then for first time ( compared to half or two?) also, I'm guessing I'll need to be in a social setting in either my home or soemone elses? being out in a pub or club isn't going to work esp with it being my first time and all?
 
It all depends, I would personally advise just dosing a half for your first time - because if it isn't strong enough you can take the other tab but if it is too strong your a bit fucked especially if it's your first time. I advise being in your home for the first time or another person your tripping with's home, for the first few times acid can be a little confusing so it's better to be doing it as far from reality as possible.
 
The first time I had lsd was when I was 18years old and banged up in a young offenders unit. Was the worst night of my life, was paranoid that the screws were lining up outside my cell to come in and give me a good kicking.
Thankfully I have had much better experiences with it as a free man.

I've tried the Avatars. One for the first time is fine, and it's unlikely that it will produce a bad trip. 200ug was the therapeutical dose in a recent LSD study in Switzerland, and none of the guinea pigs reported bad trips or other significant problems. So 150-200ug are probably a good starter dose. Not too weak and not too heavy.

I don't suggest going to a pub though. For me it was always weird to be around people who don't even know what LSD is. A club where you are more "anonymous" and other people are more likely to be under some influence too is probably better, but tripping at home with your friends is probably best for the first time. If you want to go to a pub or club it may be better to only take a half.

Also some people find nature is more interesting than a club on acid. If you or one of your friends live close to nature without too many "normal" people around you may want to go outside for some hours, before you go to a familiar and preferably cozy location inside.

Warning on the freddies, they are very unevenly dosed, out of a batch of 25, I had a strong one, two people got nothing at all and one person had to drop two to get anything.
 
thanks for the input. I did half then half about an hour later. just wow, it's 24 hours after and I'm not even sure I'm fully back. I had to work at 5pm I'm not sure how much I was there. I'm not even sure I can look at things in the same way, maybe I'm still semi high I don't know lol

Is there any strong liquid going around in the vintage brown glass vials? I might be grabbing some because I hear it's clean and strong. I believe the clean part, but I am a bit skeptical that nit is really potent.
 
Finally tried the Fat Freddys. They are great wee tabs, I didn't find the visuals overly intense as some other trips I've had; but I was giggling like mad (haven't had that in ages on acid), lovely euphoria and a real strong headspace.

the fat freddies were great this weekend, i would agree with some of them being unevenly dosed as some of us werent gettin mad visuals whilst others were, one person even saying they werent very good, but personally i loved them, just perfect for the festival i was at, sat in my tent for atleast 20 minutes by myself watching the patterns on it cover in afghan/indian writing and various shapes appearing on the white triangles of the pattern on the tent, crazy stuff! have a lovely afterglow from this weekend. i advise trying them but they may be unevenly laid, goodness knows! one of my mates had a slight freakout and had to take a few diaz just to calm her down, she must of gotten one of the stronger ones, still, plenty of giggles, i was in hysterics from start to end at the shit we were coming out with, big cheeser on my face during the music. all in all loved them!
 
There's a new 2011 dalai lama's batch going around? anyone tried them? i got some 4 tabs and considering buying much more to stock, will probably test them this week. according to my source its 250ug of "this will make u feel the stars" but i live in NL guess its not hard to be fresh tabs.

Seems odd to me. Muscle tension's just a well-known possible side-effect of LSD, and being tense for hours will mean you feel mild discomfort the day after and possibly beyond that.

I think sometimes people can get too hung up on looking for what are mostly very subjective differences from one batch of acid to the next. I'm not saying these differences don't exist, but I find a massive variation in effects from tab to tab in the same batch, let alone different batches.

I also ahve noticed this and it all comes from the same "family" - hoffman 2010s + shivas + ganeshas + hoffman ohm 2011 - all the ones with brown back side and soapy taste. It gives a really heavy neck tension and some back tension. I will never take again that shitty acid. Stick to avatar, dalai lamas, hoffman originals, or fat freddys

Its true! Its like a white glue stick to the blotter, its unbelievable until u see it. Described as "alex gray 80ug with 2cb" by the thickness of the glue it does look real. It does seem 2cb is raising in popularity again, been seeing 2 different pills (2cb text and butterflies), and also you can get grams somewhat easily for 80e to 100e.

I also got a friend bought some 2cb chocolate cookies (very suspicious) but his source is very trustworthy for regular acid. He is keeping it in the fridge for the right time.

NL current liquid availability is the following:

blue crystal bottle: 200e
pink crystal bottle: 250e
white crystal bottle: 300e

The ug dosage is supposed to jump proportionally 200ug, 250ug, and 300ug = 100 drops.
