Hello out there !
so i hear people are really pushing the boundaries with DMT now. Has any one heard about putting DMT into an IV drip with saline (a non active chemical) and being able to control the drip (like in hospital with morphine) for hours and hours so the DMT trip is as long as an LSD trip if you want it to be. I am just interested if any one knows anything about doing this with DMT... it sounds intense to say the least. My friend says he was with a group of people really exploring this.. Any one have any experience or have any knowledge about this? :)
 
I beleive this was discussed here recently, possibly in our DMT megathread. There's also a thread here on the subject. In my opinion it is not a necessary ROA and potentially dangerous. The typical DMT you'd get from extracted plant matter (freebase) will also not be water soluble and suitable for injection.
 
watch "the sprit molecule" its about people expirences with IV'ing MEDICAL GRADE made by scientists..........if u want a longer dmt trip look into ayahuasca or pharmhuasca
 
Isn't it possible to extend the DMT trip by dosing orally along with a specific anti-depressant or somesuch? It's not a drug I know much about, but I def remember reading that somewhere.

I have first hand experience reading this book. IVing seems like a very good way to precisely dose, but you'll need some very clean product. Wouldn't a MAOI taken orally with some time given before the IV dose of DMT have a similar effect? Also, there's a MASSIVE difference between DMT and 5-MeO-DMT. I'm pretty sure Ayahuasca can often contain both types.
 
sweet, thanks for the replies! Gona bein to read this megathred :) , yeah the 'spirit molecule' was deeep haha and very cool that people are studying it in so in-depth. Im not really panning on injecting dmt. Im well satisfied with smoking it, does any one know of it being addictive mentally? like cocaine or weed is thats its not a physical addiction just saying that because it was all that was on my mind for like 5 months after my last dose, I wonder what being addicted to dmt would be like..
 
You said "by no means", clearly in contradiction to what I said, hence why I responded. I agree it isn't physically addictive, and I know it's not common to become psychologically addicted :)

I think we agree anyway... unless you're implying psychological addiction is not a form of addiction?
 
yeah i guess it not addictive physically but desires can be a very strong emotion and you can get addicted that way. Especially if u have an addictive personality like mine... literally anything can be addictive... hell i got addicted to cocacola when i was young haha
 
I think it's possible to be psychologically addicted to psychedelics in one form or another. Either being completely obsessed with them in an unhealthy way, hanging out for your next trip, excessive use even when it is causing damage, etc...

To put it in context, DMT is no more addictive than a walk in the park. You might feel the desire to go for a stroll from time to time, but never will you NEED to go for a walk - like would be the case during addiction.

Anyone who even gets close to being addicted to DMT would likely see the error of their ways in one of their trips anyway. But I'm sure theres an exception, I just dont know of any.
DMT would have to be right at the bottom of my list of addictive drugs, and I love DMT. Its just not something you always want to do.

not true.. 'street' grade crystal is no cleaner than your average bag of rock or smack.. at the end of the day, you don't know where it came from or who's hands its been through (or who synthesized it)..
