aMT + LSD cross tolerance

(Welcome to merge into b&d aMT thread if applicable! not sure where to put it)

Well, before you think they both work on the same receptor, and that there is going to blatently be a cross tolerance, I already realise this! :)

Hypothetically speaking - If one were to take a relatively low dose of aMT (1 or 2mg), would the cross tolerance for LSD be considerably more apparent?
aMT in small doses can be used as an anti-depressant, very effectively in my opinion, or in just making a very happy and motivated mood in days when nothing is bothering the user.

Would the effects of the LSD be greatly diminished / inert because of the small amount of aMT? I'm purely curious about the small scale of aMT being used as it is no-where close to a recreational amount.

I dont think anybody has tried aMT with LSD, but if you know or have heard - even the most basic info would be helpful :) And hypothesize your arse off on this one please :) I like to learn! :)
 
If aMT works well as making the user happy throughout the day.. wouldn't this be a highly beneficial addition to an acid trip?
 
I've taken it with acid before. Dosed 35-40mg, waited for the nausea to pass and for the aMT to kick in. Once I was happy and settled with the aMT I dosed 2 drops of LSD (estimated at 100ug per drop) and then later again some Nitrous Oxide.

doesnt it depend if the amt dose is regular (as in daily)? this should be explained in the OP
personally i think a single very low dose of amt woudnt cause any cross tolerance, but perhaps multiple consecutive uses might....

Apologies! :) I believe aMT's tolerance dissappears after a few days, so abstaining from use before hand should fix this problem :) It stops any pissy moods that I feel may start up during the day.

And Sekio, I understand your point and agree but well, to those who are new to acid - would it not be a bit more re-assuring/help to ensure a better mood throughout the trip as the user is generally fairly happy? :)
 
Some people find that LSD alone, or AMT alone is more than enough. There's no reason you couldn't mix the two. IME mixing drugs can be very hit-and-miss esp. if they work through the same mechanisms.

I would not give a newbie to LSD anything but LSD for the first few trips. Then it's up to them to decide if they want to start mixing other things in. It reduces greatly the chance of an adverse reaction or unwanted potentiation.
