Hey guys this isn't a substance ID thread or anything of that nature. I recently acquired some MDMA caps, the reagent test took about 20-30 seconds to turn purple to black, but when taken they were unbelievable. One of the best rolls. My question is could the cutters/ fillers used slow down the reaction? The cap was rather large and packed in.
 
You are using a test kit (good!), so I would not consider this substance ID- it's a valid question related to harm reduction, so I'm happy to have it open.

I find that when my reagents start to age, the reaction slows quite a bit. If you enjoyed your time as much as you say, and what you have seemed to test clean, it's reasonable to assume that the active ingredient is MDMA as your results show.

I've never taken a substance without testing. I think my tester has aged, because the colour was starting to turn a brownish yellow rather than clear.
 
o.O beer colored ? I heard that's not good. Ya you should store a kit in the fridge :)

I once got some capsules cut with piperazines. I knew something was wrong when caps were clear but the shit inside was green! Oddly enough I saw some tan crystals too, so I tested it. The reaction was very strange - violent fizz clear/white foamy at first ---> pale yellow color ---> black. I suspected maybe piperazines or something because the green was just too funky... But I took them anyway. They just felt boring and dysphoric... I did take a pressed pill later on that I tested clean, and that did the trick nicely :D
