I'm in the process of trying to quit the cannibinoids, need to clear my mind so I can interact more professionally (hah!). Just finished moving 900 miles away from my home of 22 years. Here goes my next great adventure.
Where ya at man?, if ya don't mind me asking; no need to be too specific.
Well weed doesnt necessarily make me lazy... just makes it easier to accidentally do nothing all day. But I can be just as productive (if not more at times) while high. My problem is that I already have some amounts of social anxiety and difficulty interacting with epople I'm not very close with while sober. When I am stoned it gets worse by a looooot and going out to do Anything that involves interacting with other people becomes quite difficult. At this current point in my life I REALLY need to be able to go out and communicate with other people. You are right though, I love pot and I have a hard time truly allowing myself to accept the negative impact it can have on certain areas of my life and end up finding it hard to not just sit down and get stoned.
This is the reason I've put myself on a straight ban of cannabis; it gives me such anxiety. Not the surfacing therapeutic kind psychedelics can give, but the illogical, completely pointless and damaging kind. I'm at a point where being social is very important to me and cannabis is a serious impediment to that.
I had the best camping weekend. It was at our secret campsite up north. It's known to some other people but we seem to be the only people that use it. Best part is it's completely isolated, no rules, and it's free. It's pristine Canadian Shield territory; trees, granite, and lakes. We did a lot of hiking. Like it was said a few posts ago; nature is the best
I was just with my one other friend and it was nice with it being just the two of us. Since the MDMA experience a couple weeks ago was a dud due to crappy setting (same campsite, but a big crowd playing shitty music) we decided to try again since we only trip out there once a year. 15mg of 2C-B and 130mg of MDMA lit us way up
I brought some used motor oil with me for the fire and what a good idea that was :D I was peaking hard with a raging fire, no shirt on, sweating, and pouring oil on an already big fire. As I was pouring I kinda forgot what oil did to a fire and I jumped back about 10 feet. My friend was splitting his guts at the sight of a sweating, shirtless skinny guy pouring oil on a fire and then jumping back from the flame. I had a good laugh myself as we were enjoying the heat. :D It seems every time I trip around a bonfire I always end up shirtless; the heat energy from the fire feels so good on bare skin.
For a long time we laughed at how much joy a pail of used motor oil can bring to a couple young men's lives. :D
We realized how much we really didn't belong in a campground
We had the Lion King soundtrack, Grateful Dead, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver and a bunch of other good folk music. One of the best trips ever.
