Bluelight Weekly Photography Contest: Round 243: Inspired by a song title

No sir, straight off the SD card. I'll take that comment as a testament to my photographical genius. :D

Here's the shopped version.

Note the lack of lens flare and the ever so slightly darkened midtones.

Wow - Ive just found out that I can take black n white and sepia photos from my camera :D (sorry) Your images are so crisp / clean so I have to ask what Camera are you using?

Haha... no worries, Bear. I shoot with a Nikon D5000. The day I took that shot I was in town for a vintage baseball clash between a team from Columbus, OH and another from Cleveland. The first 200 or so I shot in color, then I switched the settings to black and white... I never looked back. The old styled uniforms and the black and white shots just went hand in hand. I took 806 photos in those few hours and that was photo number 603 so you can imagine how quickly I honed my settings considering the volume of shooting that I did. :D It was so fun! I got a whole slew of keepers that day. Some others that I'll probably break out if the weekly theme seems fitting. :D

Lol - yeah I hear ya! I take hundreds of photos when I'm out and about (I have about 100 shots of the above duck :D). I honestly didn't know I could switch my camera between color and b/w until your reply (I have a Nikon D90 :o). You can guess what my project of tomorrow is.

As an aside, Bearlove and undead have now confirmed the next camera purchase... i was not sure about a Canon or a Nikon, but a number of my friends have Nikons and knowing the quality of your photography... seeing you both have Nikons, my mind is made up. Thank you <3 (i'm still shooting on a Canon S5 IS)
