Alright so I'm seriously thinkin about huffin some gas just to see what the fuss is about. This will probably be a one time thing, but any comments are welcome, and I will seriously consider the consequences.

The consequenses include sudden death and permanent nervous system damage.

Go inahle some nitrous oxide or at the very least pure toluene... gasoline is not meant to be breathed and contains carcinogens.

Thats like saying "I'm gonna go drink some liquid". Can you be a bit more specific? There are plenty of psychoactive gases out there. Strangely enough xenon is used as an anaesthetic. Considering its a noble gas it obviously has no toxic metabolites which is a plus. Ethylene and acetylene used to be used as a general anaesthetic too. Diethyl ether is relatively safe if used responsibly. I'm guessing you're talking about huffing propane or butane or something though. Heres a quote from wikipedia:
Some gases, such as propane and butane gases, are inhaled directly from the canister. Once these solvents or gases are inhaled, the extensive capillary surface of the lungs rapidly absorb the solvent or gas, and blood levels peak rapidly. The intoxication effects occur so quickly that the effects of inhalation can resemble the intensity of effects produced by intravenous injection of other psychoactive drugs.
Just came across this article:

^^ The kid got frostbite in the face lol. The things the war on drugs drive people to do. I'd stay away from aliphatic hydrocarbons if I were you. Ethylene or acetylene are a safer alternative.

I've warned you for trolling with a thread like this before nuttynutskin and if I see any evidence of it again you'll be infracted. As this is a legitimate question that others may be interested in I'll let it remain for the moment, but I know you aren't an idiot so don't make any idiotic replies.

One word - Don't.
Infact, more words - It's an extremely dangerous practice which can, as previously mentioned, cause Hypoxia (not getting enough Oxygen), Heart Failure, Brain Damage and CNS Damage (which can lead to muscle spasms), Kidney Damage, Liver Damage, Respiratory Depression and many other negative health effects.
When you weigh this up - pros and cons style - "Getting a slight high" is practically the only "pro" on the list :\

I'll say it again - Don't.

I did it once on a dare when I was real drunk. It wasnt pleasant I threw up and felt like death for the next 2 days. I dont recomend it.

So I ended up doing it.... Honestly I don't know what compelled me to, and I REALLY don't know what compelled me to KEEP doing it. Although I'm sure being drunk and on benzos didn't help my judgement lol. Never doing this again tho, I still have the taste of gasoline in the back of my throat. The effects for me were kind of like a dirty nitrous.... I kept laughing at nothing and when I would do more everything turned kind of grey. But yea, I will never do this again, bettere off with nitrous like someone else said.

It was a legitmate question, if it was a troll thread I wouldn't HAVE DONE IT. But thanks for the concern. 8(

Glad you have decided not to do it again, as others have said it can be very dangerous and as you found out the "high" isn't worth it at all. Sorry you had a rough time with it, hope you are okay now. Nitrous is certainly a lot more fun, and has a lot less in the way of adverse effects.

Am going to close this now as your question has been answered and you've tried it, and decided not to do it again :)
