Authorities on Wednesday confirmed that Hector Guajardo Hernandez, aka El Huicho, who was interned in a hospital in Mexico City has gone missing along with two elements of the Mexican Federal Bureau of Investigation who were guarding him.

The Huicho was captured May 9 in Baja California . He is considered to be the head of the Sinaloa cartel operating in that area. He has been called the heir of the cell formed by Teodoro Garcia Simental, known as El Teo.

Medical reports are that Huicho was in the hospital recovering from a gunshot he suffered on the day her was captured.


To date, the whereabouts of the drug trafficker and the two agents, remain unknown. Authorities are searching for the men.

Guajardo Hector Hernandez, "El Güicho," the boss of the Pacific Cartel (Cártel del Pacífico) that had been previously arrested last May, is alleged to have paid about a million pesos (Approx $85,264 US) to each of two ministerial police agents who in exchange helped him escape on Wednesday from a medical clinic in the city of Mexico, where the PGR had transported him to treat his wounds.

Federal officials confirmed that the information of the pay off was provided by two other officers from the agency known as the Federal Investigation Agency (AFI). The two agents had been assisting in the custody of Guajardo Hernandez and were subsequently arrested after the escape. The other two officers who were paid off were with Guajardo Hernandez in his room and are now fugitives.

He was probably like "i will give you a million each to help me escape" and once they had made their getaway he was like here you go, one million pesos haha. suckers.
 
The authorities cannot win the war on drugs. The gang and drug cartel leaders will escape again and again, or new ones will spring up and take the places of those who fall. It is a never-ending cycle of violence, court, and the penal system, based on the illegalization of freedom, a cycle that destroys the quality of life for all of us.
