OXYcodone & sleep?

How come people say oxycodone has a stimulating affect? Every time i take oxy i just wanna goto sleep and when i do get in bed i have an amazing rest.

Is it safe to sleep on small doses of oxy? im a teenager with no priod health conditions.

and also i feel very rejuvenated when i wake up is this because xpy is making go into a very deep sleep so my body is repairing tiself alot?

Everyone reacts to opiates differently. I find it stimulating initially then more sleepy/noddy later on..

There is no problem with sleeping on small amounts of oxy - the only problem is if you are actually passed out and not breathing properly (ie taken too much)

I personally don't sleep well after any opiates really and don't feel rejuvenated at all for this reason - I'd imagine if you do sleep well, you feel rejuvenated for exactly the same reasons that a good sleep without opiates makes you feel that way

Everyone one I know that has tried oxy or still takes it gets a very energetic & stimulating high. I myself get the same & that is why I hate oxycodone. Ive only taken oxy off & on for about 7 months & finally stopped using it because of how edgy, stimulating & I could never sleep on that shit.

Oxy made me very edgy & irritable & I cant stand being like that so I stopped using it about 5 months ago. I can take percs sometimes but even those give me the edgy feeling so i havent even used them either. I prefer a sedating high & one I can enjoy & relax during the day, not jump all over the place. Everyone is different & this is just my reaction & feelings towards it, bottom line is I hate it!

Oxy made me very edgy & irritable & I cant stand being like that so I stopped using it about 5 months ago. I can take percs sometimes but even those give me the edgy feeling so i havent even used them either.

Percs also made you feel edgy like the oxy because they are the same thing.

Yeah I know bro.......just cant understand why so many people "love" oxycodone & I hate them with a passion, grr...............


At the beginning of trying percs, they didnt bother me so much but now they do.

Oxys, vicodens, codeine, heroin.. they all make me nodd out, loopy and I get the best nights sleep on them. I feel the most refreshed after a nights sleep on any opiates. I never had the stimulating effects.

Damaging how?

As long as you don't take too much and overdose, or have an allergic reaction, then no it isn't damaging. Opiates are really pretty physically benign when taken at safe doses, won't do you any harm. Am just confused where this question suddenly came from when you've already been taking it (as mentioned in your first post) and no one in the thread suggested it was.. Don't worry, as long as your dose isn't too high for you then you are all good. Just watch for addiction etc obviously if it becomes a regular thing.. that's pretty harmful to your wellbeing!
