Stimulants bluelight loves opiates

as far as 'addiction' goes, i would rather be a junkie again then doing methamphetamine for weeks or months on end. when i first started at it the psychological need for it was insane, like way worse then i ever felt on heroin. luckily, i was able to notice that and the one thing i will say about it is that (at least with me), after i've gone a day or two without using ice, i don't really care about it anymore and just downright can't stand it and since i'm not 'sick' it kind of makes it easier. i don't get that "euphoric high" that people talk about off meth, i never have. i use it so i can get stuff done and once it's done i just wanna relax. i see these tweeker people running around acting crazy and it makes me crazy to watch them. 8( i'm thinking, "wtf are you doing? chill out."

if you really think about the chemicals that go into a batch of methamphetamine... ew. you'd think, "WHY would i put that in my body?" trust me.

personally, no drug is any better or worse then the other.. they all have their bad sides and all of them can turn a persons life into a complete train wreck if not done carefully, safely, and smart.

plus, i think that there are just more opiate users then meth users on bluelight. it happens.

I saw the topic of causing death.
At least short term, i'm pretty sure opiates got stimulants in general beat pretty bad there, i'm PRETTY sure its real hard for a healthy individual to accidentally ingest enough amphetamine/methamphetamine to ACTUALLY od (i'm not counting when idiots take 50mg of adderall and think their heart is gonna asplode....) whereas dope/opiates it seems to be rather easy to OD compared with stimulants.

I think this thread has run it's course... Different drugs, different dangers. I'll leave it open for a little while if anyone wants a last word.

sure I'll take it.

I was a heroin addict first and foremost before I ever did any type of real speed (except for sniffing a bump of cocaine once in tenth grade), and heroin addiction is an ugly beast. but I still find stimulant abuse way more dangerous AND addicting, and many people on this site and people just out on the streets would back me up. The thing is heroin is bad in a way that it's insidiously addicting first mentally and then eventually physically, and that's a real bitch of a cycle to get caught up in. But with heroin I always felt safer shooting it up than I would with cocaine or any kind of cathinone, amphetamine (I know your talking about meth here, but I've actually only done meth one time, so I'm comparing it to the stimulants that are more available near where I live.)or stimulant in general, and I guess my real reason is fear of a horrible death, cardiac arrest etc.. Also it's so habitual, fiendish. so chemical, in short, which definately turns people off when they find out they're getting high off pseudophedrine pills, batteries and whatever other chemical household product was thrown into the batch.

OD and addiction have always been bad for opies, but maybe someone should list all of the organs Meth ruins.

No one can say doing Meth everyday for a year is just as bad as doing any opie everyday for a year. Stimulants ruin your body like nothing else. Your not going to stay awake for days on end without food either on opies but could easily do so on Meth.

I dont see an argument here Meth is easily far more harmful than any opiate. It isnt bias or glorification of our DOC its just facts.

I think the thread title should be "Humans love opiates". :p

meth and crack are the worst
but heroin does come in a close second

its kind of like the beer guzzlers criticizing the whiskey drinkers...
