well ive had em before and hadnt noticed that taste before, i double dropped and the watched the killing LOL prob the reason things went weird on me lol,but i noticed i was feeling uncomfortable..but then again when i put on some luke vibert it melted away..prob my fault for watching that..lol..but these were stored in a freezer and i shone a uv on em and they glowed so who knows.. :/
 
ive had the ganesha blotter, ive yet to have the shiva's, and what i noticed with the ganesha was an increase in back tension with increased doses, up to 3 and ur back was really sore the next day, this made it hard for sleep too! but yet i know they are legit lsd doses, just some maybe more badly degraded than others, but ive had ones from across the waters, they were bigger tabs and had a wee grey pinky print on the back, and they were top notch doses, they looked like home-made ones and were lovely melty ones, no back tension, same with the avatars, no tension, just lots of colour =D

yeah man, the shivas gave me the exact same problem, am yet to try the ganeshas but can acquire em for 3 a pop which makes me think they arent worth it, i mean id need loads to get me near where 5 avatars got me, but to be honest, im gunna hold off on acid till i get me some more changa, the visuals need that kick into the stratosphere that dmt adds :P
 
Apologies if this is vague, but do blotters which have "pictures of brains(?) and planets", which are blue and orange in colour sound familiar to anyone?

Yeah, I've noticed it and had been waiting for someone else to question it. :)

Seems odd to me. Muscle tension's just a well-known possible side-effect of LSD, and being tense for hours will mean you feel mild discomfort the day after and possibly beyond that.

I think sometimes people can get too hung up on looking for what are mostly very subjective differences from one batch of acid to the next. I'm not saying these differences don't exist, but I find a massive variation in effects from tab to tab in the same batch, let alone different batches.

Set, setting, dosage, yawn.

The shivas definately had an odd chemical/soapy taste to em and definitely produced a tension in my back across my shoulders, never experienced it with any other form of acid, just those alex gray shivas with the drawing on the back of the sheet, was told once that if a blotter tasted of anything i should spit it out :/
 
^ thats just the ink i'd imagine.
Doubt its chemical (LSD) related anyway. Have heard in the past that LSM could be responsible for chemical taste but said blotters were later tested positive for LSD so blame was put on the ink.
 
A soapy taste doesn't sound that bad. Could be dyes or the like. DOx tabs are a lot rarer than some people make out, and usually they're laid on entirely different sheets to LSD. The noticeable tension might even have something to do with you worrying about the taste.

It's more extreme and long-lasting bitterness you need to be wary of. A bromo tab for example would be unmistakably bitter to the point where you'd want to spit it out unless you have a sweet drink to hand.

There's some DOC blotters apparently doing the rounds at the moment, star tabs being one of the designs I've heard about. I don't think it's in anybody's interests to sell it as LSD, and the people who are getting hold of such things are usually the knowledgeable and responsible kind so I don't see any real problems.
 
friend got some "blue buddhas" in dublin. have the ganesha on the back. are these the alex grey ganeshas then and the "blue buddha" name has just been locailised for dublin? i wont be seeing them for a while. if so, whats the strenght/reports on those?

first time i took acid was about '87. last time '97............maybe 50 experiences..............so should be interesting (going to mix them with some white malcolm x's once i get a decent night organised)

Hmm yeah i guess it may of been the ink, and also the setting i dropped in wasnt exactly perfect, was a stormy day pissin down and gf wasnt in a music mood so we watching the killing..of all fucking things..and also rinsed bout 1.5g of k during 10 hours so that also coulda added to the tension..fuck knows..ill be trying again this weekend in a diff setting so we shall see :)
 
psychedelics have a tendancy to let you know the areas of your body that need a bit of TLC.

in your case breakcorefiend, the back tension is probabaly an indication that you need a massage!

I find massaging your own head on acid works wonders!

BTW, that set & setting.... Stormy day, pissing down, girlfriend not in a music mood etc. at the same time as watching a film on K..........

sounds fucking terrible for LSD! (& i love trippin in the pouring rain!:))
 
Last couple of times i did acid (once liquid, once 2 blotters) both times i've been left with a sore back/neck all day. To the point i regretted taking the acid! These were the blue tabs with a brain in the middle of the sheet if that helps.

It should be noted the time with blotters i was drunk and ended up feeling too intense, didn't enjoy it at all.
 
had the most beautiful trip today, listenin to beardy man lol, was wicked id say other then sex on acid which is top, then dmt and acid id rate this the 3rd best :P time to get more ketamiiiiine into the nostrils

Only becuase most people get to fuked up over the years to handle it anymore !

Kids have the purest of minds, I swear some of the things my 3 year old says to me show greater genuine insite than all my years have manged to muster
 
Has anyone here tried both Mayan calenders and fat freddys that can compare the two?
