Second Opinion Social Thread v.NoT gives Random Thoughts for you!

This is random.......I'm obsessing over getting glasses.
There is half of me that is thrilled and can not wait to see the world with new eyes-
And then there is part of me dreading the idea of wearing glasses :\
I'm calling them later today but I think the glasses will be in next Friday.

ocean, you would rock the glasses look. There are so many type to choose from as well from geek chic to sexy secretary. A lot of our opticians in the UK do a 2 for 1 deal & that normally means getting 2 completely different types for any occasion.

Take a good friend that is honest with you & try some on.
 
Cleets- I ordered them a week and a half ago and ACTUALLY picked up one pair yesterday.
When I called after my post above, they said I had some in.
I let the girl who works there help me choose.
I chose one pair that is rectangular (the pair I'm wearing now) and a pair of cat eye(ish) glasses which will come in next week.

The difference in view is incredible. Everything is new :)
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm gonna post pics soon. I think I look pretty silly but even though I do I enjoy wearing them b/c I really like seeing!! hahaha
I had no idea all the things I was missing.
 
I got told I am working from midnight today til tuesday morning as one shift.

Not sure if I should wear my lighter, lower cut boots that lack some support, or my heavy, 72 hole paratrooper boots that have excellent ankle support, but make walking tiring cause their so stiff and heavy.
 
i slept in my bed for the first time in two weeks. it felt awesome to have real sheets and blankets instead of sleeping bag on an air mattress. it was also awesome to sleep in my own room, as opposed to my sister's living room.

so mod would be a great thing for me to do and give me some sort of purpose outside my job.

trying to get a plan together of getting out of this depression, get a work place stress therapist, get a dietician to teach me how to shop for food and how to cook, get a trainer to get on an excercise program, and hopefully get on disability while I do all this so I can get it all together.

BL and work is all I have oh and FB but does that really count LOL

Wellington is good stuff yo. I've had beef and salmon wellington before. Beef was my favorite just because I think it was cooked better than the salmon wellington. Although salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat.

Random thought: I seriously wonder how many people see me biking (nearly) every day and wonder if I lost my license. I live in a small town where my graduating class was only about 160 students annnd a good portion of them know I got into drugs shortly after high school...
