welcome to bluelight! it sounds like you've been abusing mdma far too much lately. how often are you rolling? mdma abuse can lead to depression, anxiety, short term memory loss, and a slew of other nasty side effects. most of the people on this board are going to recommend using no more than once a month. As a personal rule, i keep my roll count in the single digits (8-9 times) over the course of a year, with at least 1 10 week break during the year. I've been doing this for nearly four years now, and have not noticed any of the negative side effects that seem to riddle the people who abuse the drug. mdma can be your best friend, or your worst nightmare. its up to you to be responsible and decide which direction you want to take it. you should check out the directory for lots of educational info on the subject of mdma.

YES dude, rolling a lot will fuck with your brain in the ways you descried. havent you ever heard of the term "etard"? if i were you id stop rolling for a few months, and never roll more than once a month again. if you keep this up, youll "lose the magic", and suddenly those light shows wont seem as amazing when your rolling.

When you take MDMA, serotonin is released in the brain into axons and then eventually depleted by the end of the roll. Your brain needs time to replenish the serotonin (usually around a month, which is why everyone says do it once a month and no more). If you keep rolling before your brain has time to replenish the serotonin the receptors will essentially shut down. During this time your brain will be producing serotonin but the receptors will not be allowing any serotonin "in". More serious cases such as serotonin syndrome can also occur. This is a very basic overview of what happens in your brain when you abuse MDMA and could be what is happening to you right now. I would suggest a minimum of a 3 month break. If I was you I would take a longer break. MDMA seems harmless but the brain is nothing to mess around with.

Everyone goes through those feelings during a comedown, and some are worse than others. But if you feel like that all the time (i think that's what you're saying?) then you really do need to chill out a little. Obviously it's fun, but you WILL mess yourself up and then it won't be worth it anymore. Nothing is ever worth losing yourself as a person.

All you have is who you are man, remember that.

you WILL go back to normal trust me. abstain from using for 3-5 months and you will feel back to your old self, guaranteed! i was scared shitless when i didn't feel like myself 2 months later, but all it takes is a lot of time and proper nourishment. now it's been 3 months and 2 weeks and im feeling great! mdma should be your friend, don't disrespect her. you might also want to cool it with the raving scene, you can enjoy all of those things, but think about what you are doing to your brain..i didn't for a while, but its apparent now, your brain isn't something to fuck around with, it's all you really have. you don't want to end up permanently mashed, unable to do things for yourself correctly..

Lots of great answers here. The Directory is hands down the best place to start in your recovery. Since you havent given us any idea as to how long youve been abusing, Id say 6 months minimum is a reasonable wait time.

^ Not true. It varies person to person. Some people feel completely fine after a roll (I know I do) and a lot of others feel like hell for 2 weeks and maybe even a month. But typically these "comedowns" would only last up to a week, depending on the persons use/abuse.

i feel amazing usually when i start coming down. but that is usually only after a normal dose. start upping your dose to 5-600 mg MDMA you will definitely feel like shit pretty much. keep it between 1-300 mg to retain afterglowing feelings

I'm a naturally sporadic person, I find that the *emotionless-stressful-heartbreak* of molly depression actually can be used as a social advantage in many cases. I usually take Kpin the next day with gabapentin and a cup of coffee to help shrug the drained feeling. But using a drug to counter another drug's problems is inadvisable in my opinion. I'm just a massive hypocrite.

Depending on the purity as well. With pure mdma, you should never need any more than 200mg to achieve desirable effects. Any more and your depression will be amplified quite a bit, I have found. Not to mention that 300-700mg of pure mdma is not only dangerous, but it will cause one to completely lose themselves in the night, massive memory loss, headache, nausea and in my case, mild hallucinations (shadow people). After taking moderate to huge doses of mdma, I've found that it's best to go with what the text books recommended.

Stay dedicated :)

it is definitely something that i have learned with experience, the hard way naturally. whatever mistakes I may have made involving MDMA in the past, I just have to move forward and stay committed to the the mantra "less is more".

Yeaa Dw dude, its now been near on 6 weeks since my week long mdma binge..& even though im seeing some differences compared too when i was losing the plot about 4 weeks back im still not 100% there.. Mdma's a beautuful drug but if you mess with it you WILL see the dark side, Eat well, maintain a good lifestlye, exercise & dont go doing it again for some time!, & same for me!, its good too do some reasearch on this topic, theres some good posts about how too get through these long term effects.
Peaceeee! %)

Yep I've abused MDMA and felt exactly what you described.

My memory becomes horrible.
Things just don't feel as good in general, anything.
Can't get quite as happy.
My brain feels "scattered" and I have trouble focusing.

But I love MDMA more then i dislike those effects after its abuse, with time, they go away, they always do. But I'll love MDMA and the experiences I've had while on it forever.

Also, I find the more higher dosage of MDMA I take, the more fun my roll is going to be. I don't believe in less is more, for MDMA.

I actually get worse memory loss from rolling too hard than drinking too much.

Combine the two and my night is literally ---> time warp to next day.

I've rolled 3 times this week off roughly 120mg (each time) and I'm not experiencing any depression. Drugs are weird.

Sometimes I wonder if it's the x-amphetamine/MDxx cocktails that really get people on the down-low in the end...

Your probably just not rolling hard enough. 120mg can be a lot to some and nothing to others, depends.

I've been an MDMA abuser and suffered in the same way.

I'm now responsible with my use, and my capacity for joy is actually much higher now then prior to the first time I tried MDMA. I make better personal decisions now as well- I consider trying MDMA one of the best decisions of my life.

MDMA can be beautiful or hideous- it's up to you which one. Nothing can synthesize the benefit of proper spacing of you uses.

I dislike rolling too hard. Memory loss, uncontrollable talking, complete scatterbrained-ness, meeting everyone and forgetting them.

MDxx to me is what alcohol is to other people. Finding your perfect dose is ideal.

OP; you've been tricking your body's adrenaline, reward and empathy systems repeatedly in excess. Any "long-term" damage you do is probably psychological.

Am I the ONLY one who doesn't get any comedown from MDMA, other than one time where i ate a completely unreasonable and unsafe amount?
I never abused too hard but i dont feel different from rolling.
other than liking electronic musics.
if anything's killing my memory, its the amphetamines and not MDMA thats doin it...i feel dumber lately, but i havent ingested MDMA for a while...

My mdma comedown is fatigue, appetite suppression and shyness(due to fatigue usually.)
Edit: Sometimes a slight headache.

It's not like a gut-wrenching, stressful, speed comedown.
