oxy OP 80 questions

ok, so due to some shit happening in my life, i no longer speak to my Roxi connect. the only thing i have been able to find were the oxy OP 80s.

i don't plan on snorting or IV, i plan on just swallowing the pill whole.

so now to my questions:

1. how does the XR system work? like does it release 40mgs when first ingested, and another 40mgs 4 hours later? or is the amount of oxy released constant and continous?

2. i usually ingest around 30-45mgs Roxi to get me going, do you guys think i will be able to get high from the OP 80? is it even worth buying it?

3. how long will the 80's high last? like will it last 12 hrs? 8 hrs? 24hrs??

4. will taking the whole 80mgs be too much for me since i only usually take 30-45mgs roxi at once?? i plan on taking 1-2mgs klonopin + 100-200mgs tramadol and i might add some 25mgs DPH if i get too itchy with the 80. i have a tolerance to both benzos and opiates so idk...


i tried looking up this shit on Google, but most links were about how to break the time release system which i don't plan on doing because i always fuck up with shit like that and i dont want to waste my pill. again i will just swallow the pill whole, no chewing or crushing....

if 45mgs of instant release is not too much, an 80 intact shouldn't be too much. i am just basing this off personal experience. don't know exactly how it works.

i like 15-20mgs of perc, and i have swallowed the 30mg OPs whole. put a smile on my face, but was far from too much.

cool, so im no longer worried that i will OD, but i still have some doubts on whether i will get high from it or not. but from the sound of your post, you take around the same dose as i do and you were able to feel the the op...so hopefully i will!!

These questions can be answered via Google, it just takes a little bit of digging.

1. While I can't cite an accredited source, general belief is that approximately 1/3 of the dose is released immediately, while the remaining 2/3 is intended to be released slowly over the next 6-8 hours. Given the 3.2 hour half-life of Oxycodone, this (in theory) should result in a steady concentration of the drug in the bloodstream for 8-12 hours. Anecdotal evidence indicates that subjective effects from OxyContin only last 6-8 hours. Personally, if I pop a few OP's, I'm fucked up all day :D

2. You will certainly be able to get high from OP's, but a single OP 80 may not be a sufficient dose. I usually recommend doubling the oral dose with OP's. To answer the other question, I would purchase it simply because the price for OP's is relatively low, at least around here.

3. 6-12 hours, depending on your tolerance, frequency of use, metabolism, body chemistry, etc. In my experience, quite a bit longer than IR oxy.

4. You have to be the judge of that for yourself. You should be fine, but I would recommend starting low and working your way up. With the Klonopin and tramadol on board, you'll most likely be feeling mighty dandy.

thank you! hopefully you are right about the time-release mechanism which means that 26.67mgs will be released immediately from the OP 80. 26mgs isn't far from 30mgs which is my normal dosage. however, i usually take 30mgs roxi + 1-2mgs klonopin + 400-600mgs lyrica + 25mgs dph + weed...so the op alone wont be enough probably...

i think i will be fine though by adding the kpin/trams. and like you said i might not be able to feel the oxy alone because of the stupid XR shit... im planning to take the 80 + 1.5mgs klonopin + 175mgs tramadol at around 4pm tomorow...should be a kickass night i'll definitely be on BL tomorow afternoon to post my experiences

other knowledge is also greatly appreciated from anyone/anything!

ok so here is my experience so far...

15:00 - ingested 1.5mgs klonopin + 175mgs tramadol + 80 OP

15:30 - ate 2 fatty sandwhiches (1 McChicken + 1 cheese burger from McDonalds)

15:45 - 1 Excedrin (250mgs APAP + 250mgs ibuprofen + 65mgs caffeine) + 25mgs DPH

16:00 - started to feel noticeable effects, my body became unusually warm

16:15 - smoked about .4-.5 with a buddy out of a sick ass bong lmao

16:30 - slight effects came into effect (euphoria + anxiety relief + sociability increase + stoned to the bone)

16:45 - i feel fucked up, my whole body is warm and numb and a slight nod is definitely making my eyes droop

ill post back hhere in an hour as the peak concentration occurs 3 hours afer ingestion and so does klonopin for me

its 21:00 about 8 hours since i last took 80mgs oxy OP + 1.5mgs klonopin + 175mg tramadol and i am still pretty fucked up. im nodding out hardcore itsa fight to keep my eyes open. i feel pretty damn good

Glad your enjoying your oxy high. You took the right dose by roughly doubling your usual Roxicodone consumption. Tis what I would have recommended.

yup i've just been playing cod and rippin bongs all day, but i suddnely got this weird headache but i can defininitely still feel the oxy

i have one more question though....how long should o expect this bad boy to last? 12 hours?

Well personally OxyContin doesn't last any longer than 8-9 hours but it isn't the same for everyone.
