I never hear this discussed. Some people get impatient before harvest. Some people smoke bud straight off the plant. This, of course, is foolhardy. Smoking bud hastily dried in the microwave or oven is indeed wretch-inducing and improper.

A golden ticket for our vape owning brethren? I think it is. Drying simply removes the moisture so the material will burn. Curing allows the chlorophyll to break down for an even smoke. Neither is necessary for THC vaporization.

This, truly, is flying to the moon like that bitch Alice Kramden.

maybe the closest to vaping wet weed would be sccisor hash for me ... i cant say ive tried that. i do know many tho, that have smoked fresh. they were way to excited looking at that fresh beautiful looking wet crystals awwwwww you make my mouth water weed, i believe i can say in my early early years of growing (2006) i did it to super silver haze during flush and man did i think it was gonna be soooo goood it just was an addition to my stupidity box.

^ im sorry for your head ache tho

Trans, I'd recommend looking at this post written by Vadar that debunks the chlorophyll myth and where I give a quote why curing helps improve the smoke. It's not a long post and only takes a sec to read. But basically chlorophyll breaking down is not what improves it like a fine wine when it's cured.

You'll find it an interesting read :)

^That was a good read, thanks. I've been wondering for a while now why exactly cured bud is more potent. I figured it had something to do with the conversion of cannabinoids, but I couldn't find a decent elucidation of this mechanism despite googling.

Reading the article in your post made me wonder about shortcuts to decarboxylation. Microwave maybe? I realize that there aren't any good shortcuts to curing in general, but nonetheless...

cause its hard bein black and gifted, sometimes i just wanna throw it all down and get lifted!

I feel like the slight burning, or whatever the plant goes through at 370 degrees, is imperative to the vaporization of the cannabinoids.

talk about vape!
i just tried something new... if you have a electric stove grab your pipe and watch the magic.

1. set your electric burner to medium high (a 7 on a 0 to 10 scale)
2. set a paper towel in the carb to make the carb solid tight.
3. wet the paper towel as it will expand around the carb.
4. put your fave. gonja in the pipe and make sure it will stay in if upside down.
5. set pipe bowl upsidedown heat straight towards the bowl and inhale.
6. judge your best hit and enjoy

note: trying this maybe on high might vape wet weed

nothing about this sounds safe, lol. why not just hot knife at that point

whats not safe about it, if you cant avoid burning yourself on a stationary heating device maybe you shouldnt try this at all. the paper towel wont catch fire if you maintain to keep it away from direct heat and the water is there to warn you if direct contact is made , you will hear a sizzeling.
the time to prepare a hot knife ... all your doing hear is fliping the pipe upsidown and inhaling....... but now that you stated the hot knife trick , this might help you vaporize wet weed.

if you did happen to have a electric stove and were openminded enough to try you might actually be suprized just remember to be safe.

That actually sounds like a good idea for a ghetto vape, not sure how good it would work but it sounds like it should work nice.

I don't think there are any and if there were, I feel quite safe in saying people would have found one by now. When you dry your weed the outside appears dry but inside it can be quite moist. Curing allows it to be at the same level of dryness all throughout the bud so it does positive things other than just decarboylate the cannabinoids.

to the guy who posted that terrible idea for vaping:

Dude, you really need multiple explanations of why your idea is terrible?

You are describing turning a loaded pipe upside down over a fucking burner? what a terrible idea... dude.....dude...seriously dude...
