New Dope not dissolving?

So ive been getting dope from a new guy and when i try to dissolve into water about half of it dissolves and a the rest produces this weird film on the top, then when i cook it it kind of clumps together and the dissolved portion draws up into the needle. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what i could do about this, i know all heroin has extra crap in it but usually everything dissolves into the same liquid, ya know? Sorry i didnt really do the greatest job at explaining this but its very bizzarre, anyone else this problem?

if it were me id rig up whatever i can pull through a filter and the rest look at and be upset with myself or eat it orally. hit dude up and let him know whats good.

Here in the UK we need to add citric acid or vitamin c (asdcorbic acid) to change our heroin into a soluble salt but I don't think any of the gear you get in the US needs that doing to it.. could be wrong though, US heroin isn't my area of expertise!!

Definitely sounds like a rubbish cut to me. I'd be super wary using that stuff and get myelf a decent filter (micron ones are best if you can get hold of them) as you really don't know what it has been cut with and it clearly looks dodgy. In fact I'd avoid it altogether, but I appreciate how difficult that can be if you can't afford to get more and you need your hit... but filter it well!! And definitely either switch supplier or (if you have a good relationship with your dealer!) mention it to him and ask if he knows what it is or if others have had the same problem. Maybe advise anyone else you know who uses that dealer that there's something funny going on with the current batch of heroin?

Heroin = water soluble
Shit you don't want in your veins = not water soluble

Either I'm missing something (not an IV user myself, but plenty of experience with peps who do), or you got bunk shit and should let your dealer know, perhaps you'll even get a refund.

Here in the UK we get the base not the salt so we need to add something acidic (usually citric or ascorbic acid) to covert it to the salt so it dissolves..

Kinda irrelevent OP as I'm sure you are getting the same h as the rest of the US, just pointing out that not all heroin dissolves

But yeah, yours should so sounds like cut or even no heroin at all for sure.. I would not inject that myself at all, too much of a risk IMO, but if you do please use a decent (pref micron) filter!
