It's about that time in Other Drugs to start looking to change up the staff a little bit. We're accepting applications right now so send one in if you're interested in helping out!
If you are interested, send a pm to amapola, BrokedownPalace, Captain.Heroin, dokomo and myself (please do send to all of us) and tell us why you think you will make a good mod. Be sure to mention any specific knowledge, education, experience, interests, or whatever else you think may be relevant. Please also note your geographic location (at least your timezone) as well as when during the day you're usually available so we can keep coverage in mind. There's no need to write a novel, but the more you tell us about yourself and why you'd be a good fit, the more we have to go on.
We're looking for someone who will be able to contribute a good amount of time to OD since this forum has some of the most traffic on BL and some of the most serious issues are discussed. This job can be frustrating and thankless at times so make sure you're willing to be patient and understanding. As an OD moderator, you'll be able to help a lot of people and have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives at times and you get to close lots of thread!
Please don't use this thread to nominate people or make the case for yourself, this should be done via PM to the individuals listed above. If anyone has questions about the position or anything else, feel free to ask in this thread or PM any of us.
