Two die after taking ecstasy 6 times stronger than normal

POLICE have warned anyone who "values their life" not to take ecstasy amid fears the deaths of two men in the west of Scotland was linked to a super-strength batch of the drug.

Lee Dunnachie, 22, and Steven Kelly, who was 19, died hours apart at separate locations in Ayrshire.

Detectives investigating the deaths of the two men said the victims were not connected to each other, but said that the drugs they had appeared to
have taken were six times more potent than normal.

Detective Inspector Craig McArthur, who is leading the investigation, said: "My advice is that firstly they are an illegal substance, and it's against the law; and, secondly, if you are insistent on taking this particular drug then it is extra-strong and dangerous and I would warn against doing so if you do value your life. So that's you cunts told".

What a load of bollocks doesnt say what the pill was and i also read "designed as a mood elevator" talking about mdma, dicks. They need to do a proper job and stop making ridiculous lies, havent they heard of phone tapping.
 
What is the actual OD dose for MDMA ??

I'm not talking about weird allergic reactions or people drinking stupid amounts of water but the actual toxic levels.

In all the years I went to parties I never saw anyone OD on MDMA and I saw people take some epic quantities

This was in the paper earlier in the week and they were showing a pic of a white smiley faced pill.
 
Pmma potentiates mdma and makes that the effects take longer to come one hence people think the pills ain't working and take more.

Ok let's look at the facts.
Everyone is bragging that these so called 'superpills' are containing 100 mg plus of MDMA.
So let's work on 100 mg being the average.
Six times stronger = 600 mg.
Then add 200 mg of filler and dye.
I'm sure a 800 mg pill would have been noticed.
Unless!!!!

To be fair to the Scotsman, they are just reporting what the cops said. A respectable reporter would question such bullshit statements and report the response.

Estimated at about 80mg per kg of bodyweight I think. Somewhere around there anyway. Lots in other words.

The LD50 is estimated at 80mg of MDMA per Kilo of bodyweight -

LD50 (mice) 97 mg/kg i.p.
LD50 (rats) 49 mg/kg i.p.
LD50 (guinea pigs) 98 mg/kg i.p.
 
So 6.6g for a 13-stone chap, for a 50% chance of croaking. Injected into body cavity.

Or only 127mg for a 3lb guinea pig! One strongish pill could do it!!!!

someone mentioned in another thread that it was E=mc2 pills. I had them and found them quite nice and a low dose too! im guessing around 80mg maybe less
