Heroin So I have screwed up...

I was addicted to oxycodone for 3 years... I finally decided to come off of it. I went about 5 days without oxy, but had been using about 2 milligrams of suboxone a day. Yesterday, a friend of mine called me, asking if I wanted to go in on some H with her. I told her I had no money and couldnt afford it. She told me that if i would just give her a ride to get it, that she would give me a really good shot. :| Well, of course, I couldn't resist. So I take her, and she gives me a shot, and it was great. Even though I had been taking a little suboxone, I still felt pretty good from the shot..I was worried about that. But I figured since I wasn't spending any money, it wouldn't matter. Well, I woke up after a wonderful nights sleep...and still feel fine. But I am wondering..what do you think will happen. I went 5 days with no opiates...except for the small amount of subs. It was a total of 8 mg in 4 days. Do you think i will be suffering from bad withdrawals soon?? I am worried, but I will just have to tough it out, because I dont have any sub left. I took the shot around 7pm last night. What do you guys think?
 
If you were taking oxys everyday for three years then yeah you're about to feel shitty. if you really wanna quit your habit you shouldnt hang around with friends like the one who offered you a shot cause that'll be a big factor in how easy/hard it is for you to stay off opiates. good luck though
 
yea, thats what i figured. :( i agree...its funny because i havent talked to this girl in months..and then all of a sudden she calls me. its like i was being tested, but i failed

It's always like this, you're doing well and out of the blue comes that irresistable call/text, when you least expect it. 8)

How big was your daily oxy dose OP? If 2mg of sub held you, maybe the WD will be managable. Also, how often did you withdraw before? That's also a factor in my experience.
 
well, my tolerance got very high....but the last few weeks, i got my tolerance down way low, like thirty to 60mg a day, then to just thirty, then to the subs. I didnt withdrawal at all before. I pretty much had a steady daily habit, unfortunately. I hardl ever used heroin. In fact, this was the second time I ever have. But that probably doesnt matter...as they are all opiates. I still feel ok. But if I am going to have bad withdrawals, I will probably know by tonight, or morning
 
Yeah, sub WD take a while to kick in, but you did taper down a bit and many people have jumped off at 2mg sub a day and made it.

Your WD may be unpleasant, but not debilitating is my guess, half the mindfuck is having been through it before and knowing exactly what symptoms to expect.

Stock up on loperamide for the shits and maybe some comfort meds if you have the chance and ride it out, just try and stay the fuck away from H ;)

well, its been 26 hours since i did that shot.....and i still feel normal. tomorrow morning will be a different story though maybe
