Hey guys, sorry if this has been done before but I used the search engine and didn't really find much.
I have been curious to try opiates intraveinously for some time now but for various reasons I have thought better of it until recently. I have always felt, for whatever reason, that carefully prepared pharmaceuticals was cleaner than street drugs due to the fact they cannot really be contaminated with bacteria the way heroin for example may be. I had always been lead to believe that oxy was not really worth it to inject, and was hoping to obtain some morphine or hydromorphone for my first IV injection. Recently though I have been told by a couple of people that IV oxy is pretty darn good and not a far cry from IV morphine or heroin.
I have recently obtained a handful of Mundipharma 40mg OxyContins, I live in Australia so they are not the so called 'OP's' and I don't believe they gel up whatsoever when being prepared for injection, from my experience snorting them they crush up rather easily. I really only have enough to get high twice if I snort or eat them and considering these are the only opies I have to play with for a while I thought I might get more out of injecting them.
Basically I wanted to know people with experiences thoughts on whether injecting oxycodone is a worthwhile exercise or if I am as well to stick to current ROA's. Also, since oxy has such a high bioavailability from other ROA's will I get by on that much less? I tend to snort/eat 80-120mg for a pretty strong high and was hoping to get away with 40mg shots.
The other concern I have is if I could get the goods from a 40mg OxyContin into an insulin/1mL syringe and still leave some space to register. The people I know to inject oxy tend to use more water than this but since 160mg oxy is soluble in 1mL of water I wondered if it was reasonable to expect to use around a mL to prep and expect around 80 units back without losing much of my dope?
I have to practise my shooting technique and I can't really afford to leave larger marks practising with bigger needles, so I am really only comfortable to go ahead with this if it will be possible to get a decent shot off with an insulin syringe.
Finally, I visited my local NSP today and they do not stock micron filters. I will be doing my best to obtain some and I am WELL aware of the drawbacks of not using a micron filter. However this site claims using that method they get a solution as clear as a micron filter, while I doubt it is as effective as a micron can anyone verify that it is a relatively safe way to filter pills compared to just using a ciggie filter?
Cheers in advance to anyone who took the time to read this and anyone who replies. I am doing a fair bit of reading on injecting technique since my first few tries with water were unsuccessful. If anyone has any particularly useful links on injecting they could include or PM me it would be very much appreciated also. Thanks guys!
