How do 5/6-APB stack against MDA?

I hope the mods see fit to leave this question here rather than the ecstasy discussion forum.... I think it'd be much more likely a denizen of the Psychedelic focus forum has tried both.

Ever since I had some pure MDA Blue Buddha ecstasy pills when I was much younger I have wanted to have that trip again. I felt as empowered as on amphetamines, as if there were endless pools of energy within me which I could call upon for any task.. The visual distortions were distractingly beautiful, the conversation with friends was lazy and hedonistic, a fully enjoyed psychedelic binge.. I truly miss the MDA feel. Very chaotic and twisted.

So if I absolutely LOVE MDA will I get the same vibes on these 5/6-APB compounds? I became very excited when I read a few erowid reports which claimed they liked them more than the local pills, I really want a replacement as the local pressies are complete garbage.

hard to tell 6apb doesn't feel exactly like mda but it does have some overlap. the halucinations at high doses are something else even compared to tryptamines i.e. photo's being active and talking to each other. bizzarre, and quite a lot like the cartoony/acid visuals of mda
 
Do 5/6-apb both produce visuals? What is a good startin dose for a fully fleshed out 5-apb or 6-apb experience?

I didn't get visuals on 5-APB (If i did, they really were minor!), haven't tryed 6-APB though.
 
over 150mg of 6apb lead to hallucinations (maybe somewhere in the region of 250mg, though not in one go)
 
I remember the MDA visuals to be very strange. Lights on the ocean which were in fact the lights lining a pier appeared to be an armada of pirate ships always about to make land but never quite getting there, this was the one MDA visual I have ever experienced (aside from the slightly filmy, TV fuzz, brightening of everything on those nights). What kinds of visualizations does one get on 5/6-apb (sounds like 6 is the more up/psychedelic one and 5 is the more relaxed/empathogenic one from what I gather)?

having tried both 5 and 6 apb, must say that personally i found 6apb more visual, but that is a bit of an overstatement. the doses were moderate mind.
6apb was ... maybe reminiscent of a light tryptamine visually, with edges enhanced, light fluidity, some sparkles (jeweling? is that a word?)... pleasant, but nothing too distracting. it made dancing with lights very engaging though.
5apb wasnt visual. perhaps a little confusing, like things appearing slightly diorganized, as if "up" wasnt really up, and things werent sitting streight...

that being said, im intrigued by mda visuals now..
 
I agree with kingme I find 6-apb visual, and actually his description of 5-apb is pretty good too, it's makes you messy, though I find in a good way. actually a mix of the 2, 50 mg or so of each, makes for a pretty good mdma replacement in my view. I find about 120mg of 6-apb or so, orally enough to bring on the visuals. one weekend I had a bit of a go with 2c-I and then later with 6-apb and the visuals on the 6-apb were stronger, though I think I probably underdosed the 2c-i a bit but it was close to the 20mg oral dose, and I've had this 2c-i before with good results so it's probably not cut (that much anyway).

interestingly, to me anyway, normally with 6-apb the visuals I get are a mix of pink and green. had a combo of 6-apb and mdma on saturday night and the visuals were more green and yellow.

MDA visuals are not like DPH visuals if thats what he was getting at. Light can warp into foreign objects but you won't actually see anything that isnt there..

Sorry if this is off topic, but I just got what is supposedly MDA. I'm a huge fan of some MDMA, and have plenty of tripping experience, but I was under the impression that it's gonna be a longer feeling MDMA with a psychedelic twist.

Anywho, I'm also debating on ordering a gram each of 5/6-apb, or maybe with just 6-apb, since it seems to have more of a trippy edge to it, which is up my ally, and hence me being allover my supposed MDA I have yet to try. I wonder how all three compare against MDMA...
 
The visuals were nothing like DPH in my experience.. I have extensive experience with both compounds, when I hear anticholinergic I think DPH and not MDA..

yeah thats excatly how i would describe it. the visuals of MDA are the most relaistic i have ever seen on any drug. truly breath taking.

so not true. try taking more MDA. the visuals are the most beautiful and realistic of any trip i have ever had.
 
The primary visual effects I got from MDA were major enhancement of bright colors; none of this other stuff people are posting about.

I tried out 6-APB recently and didn't notice much visually until I decided to take a pinky swipe from the 5-MeO-MiPT bag... even then it was mostly just color enhancement. There was a strong mental aspect to the trip though, and the live music was outstanding.
