Possibly Prepping Roxy for IV wrong?

hi, ok i'm new to shooting pills, ive only shot up dope before and i think im having a problem.. Everytime i try to dissolve a roxy ( the M30's) It seems like no matter how much i stir like a good 1/3 of the pill or more will not dissolve and always just ends up in a clump at the bottom of the spoon when i suck up the shot. my friend said there will always be some left over and that is just the fillers and binders and what not, but it looks like there is a whole lot of the pill left over, is this normal and it the majority just really fillers and binders or am i just fucking up the process somehow?

don't know anything about that specific pill, but when prepping dilaudid for plugging, a reasonable amount of particles will not dissolve and sit on the bottom of the shot glass. ive heard you are not supposed to heat with pills. so i imagine your friend is correct.

you know about micron filters and the dangers of iv pill use? if not, you should look into that. and hopefully a bluelighter with actual iv experience will expand on that and your original question.

thank you for the advice but i am looking for specific information on Roxy's ( the M 30's), yes i am well aware of the dangers and risks involved with shooting up pills, and thank you for welcoming me to the forums but i used to come here, i just cant remember my old account password or e-mail

and i know i do not add heat to the solution because that could cause the fillers and wax and shit to dissolve and thats definitely not wanted in my shot, but i feel like im not getting all the oxycodone.

Also, is it better to use hot or cold water to stir with? i've looked up alot of info on google about this and some people say hot some say cold, i've tried both and cant really notice a difference.

Hey. Yes, there should be a decent amount left. And it is the fillers and all that. It should all be dissolved within a couple minutes, especially if you're stirring it around. So don't worry...you are doing it right. And I usually use kinda warm water...more room temperature really.

indeed.....its simply...crush pill, add warm water, stir for several minutes. their WILL be residue left at the bottom of any pill unless your dissolving it in alcohol or somethin ya know and thats just not safe anyway lol at least i would never shoot pure alcohol into my veins. you got all of it right just tie off, find a vein, and prepare for blastoff

Yes, use luke warm water as that will help the active ingredient oxycodone dissolve a bit more quickly. Dont make it too warm though. Think of how large the active ingredient is compared to the pill as a whole. It is only 30mg, therefore the active ingredient only makes up probably about a tenth, if not less, of the actual weight of the pill. All that blue residue left over is binders and fillers that you do not want to be shooting up into your veins. If you are like me, and have to get as much possible out as you can, I filter it once and suck up as much as possible, shoot it back onto the spoon, suck that up again, then filter it through another new cotton into a new needle. Not sure how much more, if any, oxycodone Im getting in my shot, but I like to think it helps a bit.

I use the same exact tablets, have been for quite some time now and I can tell you from personal experience that no you're not fucking anything up. Like someone else said, the residue left in the bottom of the spoon is just the binders and nasty shit, remember, oxycodone is soluble in water, it dissolves rather quick and easy actually, anything that doesn't dissolve into the solution doesn't need to go in your veins. Sorry if this post seemed repetitive I just wanted you to hear it from someone who for sure used the pills you're talking about. Be safe and happy shootin' !

I can confirm delrio's post. I was bangin these daily in floriduh. That leftover shit is binder. Sometimes after the first run through I would re-prep that leftover shit with old cottons once the initial 3 hours of radness wore off for an extra boost.

You can even prep one pill with about 80 units draw up the 70 units or whatever, then squirt that 70 units of already drugged water onto another blue and get 2 in one shot! Be carefull though. I did 3 in one once and it was far to much for the amount I had already had in me from my breakfast shot.
