Soo I have a couple boxes of codeine? (best/safest way to consume?)

I have a couple boxes of these (couple more not shown):

Probably should of picked up more...... oh well. They are 20mg per pill, 20 in a box. Codeine nothing else in them.

I have a low tolerance with opiates. My dose for being in the 'good spot' for Oxycodone and Hydrocodone is about 15mg.


I've taken a small amount of these just to see how my body reacted first.... Now that I am back in the US of A, in regards to harm reduction, would 150mg-200mg be a good "full dose" of these codeine pills to equal about 15-20mgish of Oxycodone?

Also how long are the effects supposed to last, half-life of Codeine, and with Oxy and Hydro - I always eat before to avoid nausea.... I'm having a mellow night and about to go pick up some thai food.

Should I just take them on an empty stomach now? Or wait like 30 minutes after I have ingested my delicious meal? Is it possible to obtain a feeling similar to that of Oxy or Hydro?

Had a stressful day, and hungover morning. I just really want to relax tonight, finish some writing, watch a movie and do have mild chronic back pain... hoping to get, as I said, a similar experience as if I had taken like 15mg of oxy. Thanks!

I would eat 200mg worth about 2 hours after your last meal. If you don't feel anything or much after a hour dose another 100mg. There isn't much worry with over dosing on this stuff just how intense you want to high to be. Just don't eat much more than about 400mg.
 
I have been taking prescribed Norcos for over a year & have taken morphine & oxycodone now & then & 180mgs of codeine still gives me a good high believe it or not. I think it depends on how well the individuals body can break it down, so with that said, start out with 200mgs & go from there. its a shame some people cant enjoy codeine, but then again, my favorite is morphine.
 
i gotta say 200 mg is a solid dose for someone without a tolerance. However, keep in mind that "no tolerance" people are knocked on there ass with 10 mg of hydrocodone, just sayin. Still, you're lucky to acquire the codeine while you can enjoy them - and without any acetominophen. My preference would be a couple of cocktails (if you drink), followed by 40-60 mg. Wait 20 min and if ur not where you want to be, titrate 40-60 mg every 15-20 min until you feel a warm blanket feeling. Just be careful with etoh and opioids. I wouldn't experiment with new doses without some companions to make sure you don't stop breathing (sorry, opioids and alcohol will do this - you should know this). Still, enjoy the warm opioid blanket, be safe.
 
I suggest 120mg to 150mg if you have never taken an opiate before. Some people who are highly sensitive wouuld get absolutely fucking floored by 200mg.

Generally codeine is not a drug that lends well to titration. I have had consistent good reports of bolus doses being way more effective than eating 60mg and waiting, eating another 60mg etc.
 
I find that I have to wait 6 hours after eating to get the full effects- in any case it can't hurt because you have no idea what enzymes you could be inhibiting/inducing when you eat! I always take a first generation antihistamine to help with the itchies and to help me nod. It really can't hurt your high so might as well stock up on benadryl. Quercetin is the flavanoid in grapefruit juice that allows more codeine to be converted to its active compound, but some people find it makes the high too "harsh."

Everyone has their own dose, but when I was first starting out i used to take 180mg.

Or better yet, just don't mix opiates with alcohol, period. It's not worth the risk and in my experience it does NOT make for a better/more enjoyable high anyway.

Just do one or the other, but not together.

Four of those pills would get you mellow, eight would have you feeling great.
Nausea isn't much of a risk, particularly as they're not combined with harsh APAP or NSAIDs.
 
^Some people still get nausea from codeine, even the lower doses. Good idea to have an antihistamine on hand (maybe not take it the first time) - Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is effective at knocking down itching and nausea.
 
Lol, these are french boxes, I used to do Paderyl a lot when I was younger.
 
If I am not mistaken oxycodone is x10 more potent than codeine so if your taking 15mg of oxycodone to get high you may need about 150-200mg of codeine. Take it an hour after a full meal and orally, no other route. It lasts about 4-5 hours. A little longer than oxycodone. Its best to take your entire dose at once as redosing isn't so effective but it wouldn't hurt to take another 50mg if your not feeling it after an hour.
