What happened?

I was given some adderall by a friend, 30 mg tablets. The thing as that nothing ever happened to me. After taking the pill and waiting about 30 minutes, I felt nothing but sickness and lethargic. I took the other pill the next night thinking, "Maybe it was a weird one time thing." Nope, the exact same feeling. Now I ask, what the hell actually happened? Should I be diagnosed with ADD or something?

well if there was food in your stomach that might've been why you felt sick.
not everyone reacts the same way to certain drugs.

30mg is a lot of amphetamine for a newbie, try taking half.

Agreed. Personally, adderall makes me feel like crap, so YMMV. I would also say try taking a lower dose, but it's really not for everyone.

if you did not, you should always check online to make sure the pill you are taking is what you think it is. drugs.com has the best pharm ID system, imo. even if it someone you trust--mistakes happen. no reason not to. but i imagine it was really adderall.

because adderall is very hit or miss for people. you could try a lower dose, but i say, say "fuck it."
