I have the generic lortab elxier (hydrocodone) and was wondering how much i should take to get high?

If you use this chart on erowid it will give you an appropriate dose

you can work out the dose in mg by working out how many mg per ml and doing some quick math.

if you are taking the elixer orally then it should be the same.

alright then. the link Mugz gave is actually for an oxycodone dose, but close enough and you have already posted in BDD asking about hydrocodone dosing. so.
