What'd you do to get off your butt today? v. "That's not real exercise!"

^ When I worked as a cleaner, which involved a hell of a lot of moving around, I ran the cord down my shirt and kept my iPod/musicplayingdevice in my back pocket with the extra cord tucked in. Rarely had an issue with the cord getting snagged, though I did sometimes. More so had the issue of the ear phones falling off my ears. :P

Anyways. Lol. Today I biked seven miles to and seven miles from work.

Biking to work really sets you up for the day, doesn't it?

I used to get a lift to work and would still be half-asleep by first break 2 hours in, but now I cycle a few miles up steep hills in ferocious Highland winds (and usually lashing rain!) at 7am each morning and it really wakes me up and gets me off to a great start in the day!

Bloody Scottish weather is annoying sometimes, but och aye it's nae half braw an' guy awa' hairs on yer chest!

On topic:
2 sets of Military Press
2 sets of Lateral Raise
2 sets Bent Over Row
2 sets Weighted Push-ups
2 sets Weighted Pull-ups

Had a fairly easy going one today....probably not the best idea to have a hard workout given the whole double near-fatal seizure thing last Thursday

It really does set you up for the day. :) My day goes by pretty damn slowly when I don't bike to work.

Did about a quarter mile walk with the dogs... Was too upset to do much more after what a neighbor said/did... :(

... What?

Hehe

Translation: "Typical Scottish weather is most displeasing, but alas oh yes, it does rather effectively fortify a certain robustness in one"

Oh no :( Is it private/would you rather not discuss it? Feel free to PM me if you need to get anything off your chest.
I'm about to hit the sack, still haven't fully recovered really.
Will catch y'all tomorrow.
Love'n'light

I can't wear earplugs either. Try lifting weights with those things, Amor. I think you'll change your mind on the fact of whether it gets in the way or not. I don't fancy running on treadmills and on a stationary bike. I have to be moving around and when you do, the strings get hooked on fuckin' everything.

direct the wires through your shirt. i've never had a problem with earbuds using machines or free weights, and i only workout with them.

The other day I ran half a mile and then walked half a mile just to cool down and not over exert myself since I'm getting back into running.

Today I'll do some lifting.

Biked about 28 miles. Set one goal, broke through. Set another... broke through. Another...
I planned on just going to fill up my tires.
I've been on my ass for a good amount of time, too. Struggling with food allergies that were causing light headedness, weakness... but I didn't know that was it until a couple days ago.

Today I biked seven miles to work and two miles from.

Found it quite ironic that my bike's chain snapped not one mile after I was thinking that it wouldn't be that bad to walk to/from work.

Walked two and a half miles to the bike shop only to find that they couldn't fix it right away. Walked another two and a half miles home.

Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow.

Went on a walk with my mom, which turned into us exploring some abandoned roads and an old creepy abandoned site with lots of creepy abandoned buildings. It was a long walk, and my hip injury hurts but it was really fun. I friggin love exploring shit.

went to the gym for the first time in awhile. i just cant stand being in there when its so nice outside, unless its for a group cardio class or something. but anyways, today i wanted to brush the dust off my gym pass so i went and did 30 min on elliptical, which flew by listening to some happy hardcore... then did some stretching and crunches.

ended up eating a bowl of ice cream a few hours later :/ so it was kinda pointless but ill take a walk later or somethin...
