Lyrica with Dilaudid - Can I decrease both?

I get my pain script tomorrow. Have a full bottle of Lyrica. I know there's been threads related to this as I did do a search first, but couldn't find relevant information to this.

I believe Lyrica potentiates opioids/opiates. Can I decrease on the hydromorphone if I take Lyrica with it (probably a little before so it hits as I sniff the hydromorphone)? Will I still get a buzz, but with a smaller dose, or does it just potentiate the analgesic effects? Can I decrease Lyrica with regard to the same thing?

Lyrica potentiates the analgesia and sedative effects of opiates much more than the euphoria. You can reduce your opiate dose if you are taking it for pain.

If you are taking it to get high id stick with using the D's alone as you can go higher on the dose than if u mix it with shit.

The combo is common and all some think it potentiates euphoria as well but i think thats largely untrue although u do feel more fucked up.
 
Forgive me, but as I'm a bit fucked up now I'm not quite understanding what you're saying,

So basically, I could take 0.5g Lyrica with 8mg Dilaudid and feel as good as if I took my usual 1.3g Lyrica OR my usual 12mg-16mg Dilaudid? Remember that I sniff the D's.
 
For pain, Lyrica seemed to have no noticeable effect on me or potentiating the dilaudid or muscle relaxers I am prescribed.

Another fyi:
Lyrica did start fuckin with my vision and I tapered off of it. I was getting some blurred vision that went away with the drug.

You know, it's crazy I realize that, but I have ocular albinism, which is accompanied by nystagmus. Lyrica actually COMPLETELY STOPS my nystagmus. Yes it's fucking with my vision I'm sure, but also I'm seeing better than ever in my life! It's truly amazing.
 
Considering I got my script today I guess we'll see. Gonna try IV diliedoos. We'll see how it works with Lyrica (Got I got my Lyrica yesterday and have one threshold dose left, FUCK).

Well, I can say that taking 8mg Hydromorpone with around 0.9g Lyrica is truly wonderful. I'll wait until the Lyrica wears off and then see if less is better, but I can definitely say I LIKE IT. lol
