No, we will not delete all of your posts. Everyone is free to manually delete or edit their own posts. It is the user's responsibility to take care of their own business. Do not expect the administrators to solve your problems for you.

Again, this is the user's responsibility. No one forced you to register and no one is forcing you to leave.

Our experience has shown that most of these requests come in the middle of some, possibly drug-induced moment of paranoia. If you're worried about what you've posted here, take some time away from the computer. Maybe it will seem like less of a problem the next day.

That's not good enough.

I want the account to be removed.

If I have to, and I really don't want, I will get myself banned. Can't someone just fucking ban me with the click of a button, just like you'd ban someone who posts SPAM or racist comments or randomly insults people? Do I seriously have to break the rules repeatedly until I qualify to be banned? Because I will. It's just a waste of my and other people's time.

And I'm not "angry" at you, alasdair. Nor am I particularly upset about anything. I've been thinking about leaving this site for a long time. It is an addiction and I am breaking all my addictions. I don't want it to be possible for me to return. If my account is deleted, it will make it easier for me. I don't see what the big problem is... Please don't force me to go bananas.

We don't do bans by request and we can't delete accounts.
I would suggest that you scramble your password so it's not possible to log in anymore.

Even if you do the proposed posting spam in order to receive infraction points, it will take a long time for you to get banned. Think about it. You post spam, we give you a couple of infraction points, you get banned for 1 day.
Then in a day's time you come back and do the same thing. We give you another infraction point which gets you banned for 3 days. And so on and so forth. The whole process to get you banned will take about 4 weeks. Can you really be bothered with that?? Such a waste of time and effort in my opinion.

Just change your password by mashing the keyboard so there's no way you will know what your new password is, then you can't log in anymore. Then over time you'll forget about coming back to the site.

This is what I'm going to have to do unfortunately. It's so stupid that I can't just be banned and I have to waste both your and my time, but so be it. Changing my password is not adequate closure. The account must be deleted. I've made up my mind. If that means I have to make a couple of inflammatory remarks every few days or so, then so be it. Apologies in advance for anyone I offend and for the time I will be wasting. Maybe after a week or so, you'll realize how serious I am and just fucking ban me already...

It's no skin off our nose mate, that's the job we're here to do every day. It will only be a waste of your precious time. Why bother? Go out and do something constructive with your time. Life is too short to spend hours meaninglessly trolling an internet forum.

All I want is a line through my name and the words "ex-bluelighter" underneath for closures sake. Leaving my account dormant but still active, even with a different password, just does not suffice.

It will say "Temporary Ban" under your name, and your account will be dormant but still active.
 
I think this has been sufficiently answered.

PM me if you want it re-opened, and maybe throw in some insults to get another infraction ;)
