Totally depends on the drug for me.

Oxy is my DOC and I'll swallow them when I can get 'em so that's how I voted. Benzo's and what's sold as e I eat as well. Morphine and heroin I inject. Speed (or bupe) I'll snort but I haven't had speed in years, not really into the uppers any more.

Smoking is my fav ROA. For me it's like a ritual, can totally empathise with IVers getting as addicted to the ritual as to the drugs. If I can't smoke it I'll eat it or snort it. There's just something about smoking though

@Mr Blone - My idea in my head was just to see who is happy to use a needle when using drugs not so much the ROA but I guess this way is better because it gives more information.

@MrIbis - I've done SC before when I wanted to give my veins a rest. Proper technique of course. Maybe I'm unique.

Yeh but I can't think of any other way to do it. I've personally done every method on that list and use different ones all the time but I find IV my favourite if I want to get high so I put that down. I'm just keen to see what peoples favourite ROA is with their DOC.

You won't find many/any IV users who are willing to IM/SC their drugs if they cant hit a vein.

Only time i have IM'd my drugs is when I had no tips that were >18 gauge. Personally if I couldn't hit a vein I would keep trying but that hasn't really happened before.

It's just a waste especially with my current DOC hydromorphone.

They do exist, but they are also drawing tips for drawing out of vials, hence why I get them.

And yes it was with the blunt one, and never again EVER EVER again will I do that to myself, but when your hanging bad and you have a vial in your hand at 1am with nowhere to get fits......

Well the first 5 or so attempts didn't work then I just got angry and did it real hard and it didnt hurt that much especially after 2-3 minutes and 15mg HM from a vial lol.

I chose smoking because I indulge in both cannabis and alcohol daily, and my favourite drugs for pure recreation are heroin and meth depending what I am doing, I also smoke cigarettes and since I pretty much exclusively smoke my meth and occassionally do heroin (I prefer snorting though).

It really comes down to the drug and its hard to qualify one drug of choice in my position of being dependant on several and using a few others regularly that I would say I like better than my daily staples but just can't afford.

Chose Inhalation/Smoking. Purely because my DOC by far is meth, and have only ever put it through the pipe and snorted it.

Even though I much prefer the feeling when snorted.. I can't help but put it in the pipe. EVERY TIME!

I'm surprised by the results so far. I would have though IV use would have been lower.

I wonder if being a member of this site has anything to do with it. I had never IV'd before reading bluelight (out of hospital setting) mainly because I feared it because I didn't know much about it. But due to hospital I knew the feeling IV opiate can induce, so I learned on Bluelight all about IV saftey and this and that. Now I IV....

Not saying it's a certainty but there may be a relation.

^ speaking for myself, it was a purely economic decision. Opiates are my DOC right now, and while eating or snorting them was fine when I had a low tolerance, after 2 years of regular use it's just too expensive and inefficient, so I taught myself how to use a needle and now I can make a stash last 2 - 3x longer than it would if I wasn't IVing.

Personally, if it was up to me, I'd smoke all of my drugs by vaporizing them in a glass meth pipe. There's nothing so fun as twirling the pipe around and watching the smoke spiral up the stem.
