As posted in the 1/8th / weed thread, a very, very kind friend gave me an essential vape and some budder today for nothing whatsoever. Words cannot express my gratitude and this has completely made my day.

I'm like a child at christmas. I'm now going to experience the most intense high of my life and then go to the cinema as it's 'CRAZY tuesdays' (discount) anyone recommend anything out at the moment. Seen Hangover 2 and Thor already.
 
just broke through on some changa, beautiful business mans trip :D i have another hit waiting so iin an hour or 2 i will indulge :D still seeing fractals but the goddess has gone :(
 
Going to be a sober night for me tonight, wish I could make in a non sober night somehow but that is not a possibility. Will probably do me some good though.


edit - just trying to decide whether or not to use £4 of my last £5 to buy 4 cans of scrumpy jacks instead of either some extra food (can make the food I have last until friday easily) or to do some laundry (can just about make the clean clothes I have last until the weekend too if I go commando every day, which isn't a problem with me =D )

Seem kind of desperate and unnecessary though. I don't need to be under the influence tonight and would probably do me well to be more sober but just have so much going through my head that I think I would rather escape somehow at the moment :\

yeah, already kind of convinced myself to get my cider on, have got the money out and am ready to cycle down to the shop. I guess since I have enough food and clothes to last me it isn't all that junkie like, but still feels a bit like it, spending my last money on alcohol rather than cleaning more clothes or buying more food


Could do with a nice DMT trip myself actually. Have some root and rue here, might try and make a brew at the weekend if actually.

and as i got a couple of 150mg md caps could make it fun

I have a similar amount of willpower at such things, lol
Never really got a taste for cider though , usually go for beer
 
same, never been a cider drinker, always beer for me, but recently have been getting into krabbies ginger beer, its pretty good!
 
by cider do you mean white ace, or a nice west country/normandy version? if you mean the former, i suggest you try the latter. no amount of poverty could make me drink white ace. my old housemates used to do the white ace challenge, 3 litres in 30 minutes (NOT good HR). apparently after the 1st litre it gets better but i never made it that far.

Lol, thanks, I wish I had an ounce of it sometimes. Next month will be different though, going to budget properly, and send pretty much all of my money down to my dad to look after and he will send it back to me in small chunks until I can learn to live within my means for a while then I will take back control myself. Will be harder to make spur of the moment trips to the shop to buy booze or burger king for dinner if I know it will mean having to phone my dad sooner to ask for my next installment. Is the only thing that will help me with my spending at the moment or my lack of self control will always win.

Cider is on offer at the shop at the moment, 6% scrumpy jacks, 4 cans for £3.99, decent units to price ratio while still being a tasty cider unlike white lightning or frosty jacks which I wont let myself get drinking again.

words to live by right there :D

In Ireland we have Flagons of cider, 2 litre plastic bottles of goodness which mostly bums drink becasue its quite cheap ....
 
lol in uk we have frosty jacks in 3 litre bottles, 7.5% and only 3 quid or usually 2 for a 5er, insane, got so pissed all the time, prb why i cant drink it now! lol
 
i think if i was that poor and desperate to get drunk i'd down a quarter of glens vodka. probably more painful during, but the duration is so much shorter. not that i can down a quarter of vodka. or would. in fact drinking one in half an hour on an empty stomach probably once tipped the balance from being really drunk to alcohol poisoning.

tend to stick to beer now as i drink things at the same speed regardless of strength. though the odd spirit and diet mixer are slipping in.....
 
Scrumpy jacks is a respectable cider IMO, tastes pretty nice too :) I will never touch Frosty Jacks again though.


Could never go back to drinking vodka again though, reminds me of my school days drinking neat vodka in the parks.
