Dexedrine and heroin combo

^^ +1.

Don't think dexies are going to do anything to stop you from OD'ing on the smack either. IMO mixing uppers and downers is a waste considering the strain it puts on your heart.
 
I have a high opiate tolerance, especially as of late I've been using heroin or oxycodone at least once a day for the past week. My preference on opiate dosing would be about 50-60mg of oxy for a solid euphoric high without nausea. I have no tolerance to amps though
 
Well yeah everyone loves a speedball, but it is one of the more dangerous drug concoctions.

When the cocaine wears off before the Heroin (which it will) you can suffer from respiratory depression which can be fatal.
 
^The OP is talking about Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine), not cocaine. While mixing amphetamines and heroin is similar to a speedball, its not a true speedball.

The warnings still apply, however.
 
If you read our posts I started talking about dextroamphetamine, not cocaine, until I was asked about cocaine.

Edit: and it was the OP that asked about with cocaine. SO I was just following the course of his thread.

I can't vouch for dex and heroin, but seeing as this thread hasn't gotten you many answers I will post for what I do.

I do Hydromorphone + Methylphenidate in a 6:5 ratio.

And Morphine + Methylphenidate in a 6:1 ratio

This I do IV. Please note that opiates are my DOC, I like a more sedating high but I find the methylphenidate (MPH) adds to the rush/euphoria. For this reason I use a small relative ammount of MPH. Most users if wanting a true speedball (or alternative) would probably raise the ratio of the upper a bit.

Roughly adjusting for heroin and dex assuming heroin is 2x morphine potency and dex is 2x methylphenidate potency then you end up with the same ratio 6:1. Then you would have to adjust for bioavailability which I will do in a bit.

Edit- Neighborhood beat me to post so this may be invalid but I will continue.

Adjusting for intranasal absorption. Heroin BA = ~53%; Dex BA = ~75% - basically end up with a ratio of 7:2. That's what I would try (obviously in a small amount first) if I was doing what you are doing. Of course if the dex is pharmaceutical grade and the heroin is off the street and not pure you may need to adjust for the strength of the heroin and add more (hence why I stick to pharmaceutical speedballs).

As is recommended for all combinations, don't start with your usual dosage for either drug since you're mixing the two. Lower the dosage for each and start from there.

BTW to avoid this just keep the opiate to the level you would normal use to get a buzz and then add the upper.
 
Oxycondone gives good advice, since heroin is always a street drug (well, almost always a street drug), its purity is highly variable. Know the purity of the heroin you're dealing with and adjust accordingly. It's probably a good idea to try it out by itself, by whichever ROA you usually use, and then gauge its potency from there.

The golden rule with combinations is know what each drug does by itself and then lower the dosage before combining. This applies for mixing drugs of the same class (ex: opiates and another depressant/downer) or different classes (ex: an upper and a downer).
