ok so if you want, you can finish your two triangles and just make the beads with dots a certain color to form a heart. that way it's part of the triangles and you don't have to deal with a bead sticking out from the bottom. see the pic below:
if you want to make the heart like i pictured in a previous post...follow these steps:
step 1:
build your triangles until this point, and make sure you have one pink bead (or whatever color you want the heart to be) on each side. like this:
step 2:
add 2 more pink beads to each side.
step 3:
add 2 more pink beads to each side.
step 4:
only work with one triangle for this step. string through the pink bead FIRST, then add one more pink bead. should look like this:
step 5:
take the string from the left side and weave it through the right side, just like you would join the two triangles together. like this:

step 6:
pull both strings together tightly and then string on one pink bead to both strings.
step 7:
last thing is to string back up through the heart to tighten the heart together.
this shows me only stringing through one bead on each side:
it's going to be loose, and to fix that just weave each string up through the heart and then back down. then tie it off and glue it and cut the strings that are left.
hopefully that was clear enough! i found that doing the heart connector this way separated the triangles too much and didn't give me the lift i kinda needed...so depending on your situation, you may want to follow the first picture and just add the heart like that.
