Flame me all you want, delete this thread if you want, it won't really bother me..just might make me quit reporting..

I've had perfectly legitimate and adequate reports get deleted for literally no reason with no answer to them. Rules were followed, pics were there, tested with test kit. Deleted, I've had to re-write a few over the last year. I end up posting practically the exact same thing and they don't delete them..

Some have literally no idea what they are talking about when it comes to certain things and I've seen them rag on a few users for no reason as well.

I don't wish to reveal my username on PR, however, this is a totally real issue, I've gotten told not to say certain things when what I say has an absolute legitimate harm reduction purpose. I wasn't sourcing, I wasn't doing anything against rules, and it all had a perfectly valid reason...I've been a registered user for a long while.

A few mods are clearly stupid little teenagers.

Sorry, but it had to be said. I'd go in to more detail but as I said, I don't wish to reveal my PR username.

PR is becoming childish at some points.

Anybody else feeling this way? I spend my time trying to help people and I literally get hassled beyond the already visible hassle of doing it in the first place, which I absolutely don't mind doing, but it shouldn't be any more then that.

I'm definitely not directing this towards all the mods on PR, as I'm sure a lot are genuine and a lot are helpful. It's just not like it was 2 years ago when they actually tried to help people and prevent any possible damage, it's like the newer mods are kinda dicks.

I had to say it. W/e.

This thread will certainly not be deleted and I will check into your claims and reply. I honestly feel that the team of mods that we have at the moment is brilliant (If I thought they were messing users/posters about or being overly zealous when they remove a report etc then they would simply be removed from the team).

Posters have to remember that all the mods, staff do this job in their spare time/free of charge and with the intention of helping everyone.

Mistakes do happen though and there really isnt a need to let problems build up and then explode with a thread like this. You can contact the administrators via the contact support function on Pillreports - of if your unhappy with that you can simply PM me on here and I will (eventually) get back to you.

If you would prefer to skip the admins and report your problem to the site owner then you can simply PM 'Johnboy'!

PLEASE do not let problems fester - just PM me, let me know your having a problem and I promise you I will look into the matter.

I will contact you via pm to have this matter addressed / resolved as quickly as possible.

If anyone flames this poster for bringing this to my attention 'they' will receive a warning / infraction. Its great that people make posts like this - it lets us know theres a problem etc.

the main thing ive noticed that i dont like about the PR mods is when they change someones report to something completely different.

like someone will have a great report on a pill, it'll say MDxx med or whatever, and a mod will go and change the pill contents to "adulterated" without the users' concent. this really bugs me cause then you can never tell if a pill is legit or whats in it. (i dont have a test kit, and cant get one)

idk, thats the best way to explain it haha sorry.

I do agree that PR can be a very frustrating place to visit and as such I don't spend much time there anymore. Endless bickering, accusations, all done in the most childish ways.

I am not pointing fingers at the mods though. They have a difficult time enough with all the goofballs that post there. But it does seem like at times they get caught up in all the non-sense.

Maybe it would work better as one of those exclusive sites where you can only join on reputation and referral?

Dude it's nothing new.

Anyone who has power will take advantage of it in some way .

Bush , Stalin , bluelight mods .

Ya know :P

I joke I joke . I kid I kid

I know what you meant but thats one of the reasons we have mods - so many people make reports not knowing what they have taken. The effects dont often indicate the suspected contents so we change them accordingly. Its much safter than leaving the incorrect suspected chemcial - dont forget that adulterated doesnt always mean a bad pill. If users suspect anything else other than MDxx then it should really be flagged as adulterated and a warning added if necessary.

The bickering happens, we ask over and over for people to keep the comments on the pill in the report and not use the site as a social chat site. To make it a members only site is completely missing the point - we want the site/information open to everyone - in doing this we unfortunately have to put up with the off topic chat / idiots logging on purely to troll etc.

To be able to take this matter further I need to know what username you were using of Pillreports

Was looking at the aus section the other day and a report poster was getting slated of a mod and others because there was already a report on the same pill a few weeks before. I replied in the comments saying that it was crazy to remove that report and that more reports must be better. They said it was a rule of pillrrports but I have never heard this in the uk/Europe section. No complaints in the Europe section BTW, good job.

That is not a rule of the site but I know that when several reports on the same pill shows up - some users (AU) section asked if we would combine them to save people having to read a dozen reports.

If there is a decent user report then I personally wouldnt combine them as the more infromation from different users on a pill the better. We have a lot of new mods in the AU section so I will mention this to them just incase we may have had our wires crossed somewhere down the line.

Im glad that your happy with the Europe section - we have some great posters making reports and everyone seems to know the score / rules which makes life so much easier.

Well, I don't think it's completely missing the point.

If the site is driving away the posters who have diligently provided test results and only getting tons of contrary and rude replies, all that is left will be etards and fake dealer reports then it is not going to be much of a service to anyone...

I'm not saying that's going to happen but perhaps something should be done before it does. And that may be having the mods delete the trolling/aggressive/inappropriate/off-topic posts as soon as they are posted (frustrating the offenders to the point of leaving), a larger ban-hammer, or maybe an IGNORE function? (that way the user can decide to individually block who's comments they feel will have no worth)

@fadingglow - there are several pillreports mods that I speak to privately and are friends of mine.. if you feel as though you are being ignored or mistreated or anything you can feel free to private message me and I will speak to them and let them know there is a legitimate issue...

Even if your someone I have disagreed with on there I don't care.. I can respect differences in opinion... and this is clearly a legitimate issue and will be treated as such

=D

yeah i can understand it if they edit a report that they think was made by one of the pills' dealers'.

but other than that i think they shouldnt edit it unless their 100% positive that changing it is for the better.

The site is simply that, a site for everyone to make reports - the users however are something else. We have asked on a number of occassions for posters to keep the subject on topic. We have been very strict at times and simply deleted all off topic posts and we had the compaint that the site was too sterile and we were driving posters away as they couldnt chat. We created several threads on here were people could take the chat and leave Pillreports for reports / comments.

The mods do this on a free of charge basis and in their free time - we do not sit at our machines all day every day so I do think that posters/users of the site should cut us all a bit of slack here.

Abusive, trolling and aggressive comments should be removed as soon as they are posted and the poster, firstly warned and then banned (its that simple) but everyone has to take resposbility here. You all can report posts, users and mods to either myself or the site owner 'johnboy' on here - also if theres an abusive / trolling etc comment then simply ignore it. By getting into the argument, discussion then your simply adding fuel to the fire.

Thanks for the offer but I'm the administrator for Pillreports, If anyone has an issue with any member of the staff then they can contact me and I will hae the matter sorted. If anyone has a problem with me then they can contact the owner of Pillreports and let him know whats going on.

I dont think any one of us would intentionally edit a report without thinking it was a positive move, lets just say a report goes up rated as High MDMA, suspected contents MDMA. The user report doesnt match the effects, trippipng or awake for two days etc (Im using extremes) - do you think its better for us to ignore the obvious error? The report doesnt have to be a dealer report for it to be incorrect and leaving it could put more people at risk from an adulterated pill.

This is a really tough one to deal with - I personally think that by changing the report it simply lets other users know that the effects listed are not typical. The OP can come back and chage the report - they can talk to the mod who changed the report and maybe discuss the matter openly in the thread.

^ yea I know @bearlove... I was just making the offer to them in case they did in fact have the issue with you or just wanted to no go directly to a mod for whatever reason... =D

I know you meant well - the thing is, if anyone has a problem with me then they can take it up with the site owner and if he found that I was messing people about, dicking about etc then he would remove me from the team/site.

If its about any other mod then I would hope that people could trust me to be fair and honest when dealing with a complaint.
