I've been curious about opiates (specifically heroin) on and off for a while. I wish they weren't so damned addictive and dangerous. But I'm here to ask...
can you do it just once? Just once I want to feel that, feeling. From what I've read about heroin, the experience is not necessarily euphoric, but blissful apathy, a meditative state. I remember once many years ago I got some percs after a minor surgical operation. I remember talking to my mom, and just feeling elated over nothing. Obviously I was in no pain, but it felt great. I used to get that way from weed but anxiety has seen to that. Again I ask, can you do it just once, or at least infrequently enough to never become addicted?
Does anyone wish they could go overboard, be a junkie for a while, and snap their fingers, and its like none of it ever happened?
I know its silly and childish but, Eric clapton, jimmy page, keith richard, they all did heroin, never died, and came out all right in the end.
I don't want to be curious about opiates. But I figure the only way to not be curious is do it.
