Opioids WD from 80mg methadone, will 60mg morph IV get me better?

Ok I havent been able to get my meth for 2 days and im on 80mg so im just starting to feel shitty but when it gets a bit worse I was thinking about IV'ing 60mg of morph I just got.... Am I dreaming thinking that this will make me feel any better or should I just forget it?

Ive also had grapefruit juice an a fair bit of valium so manybe that might potentiate it a bit also? Anyway just after some opinions here. Thanks people :D

I'm not sure what you mean by "some morphines". Morphine is a chemical.

Also pretty much every drug (not a prodrug) will have its highest BA through IV injection.

OP check out the Opioid Equivalency thread which is linked in my signature to get an idea of whether you will feel it. It is a bit more complex than that though as methadone has a long half so taken daily it will build up to a much higher level than just your daily dose.

When I was c/t detoxing off of 70mg methadone daily, no amount of suboxone would make me better, until over 10 days after jumping off methadone. The only thing that would help would be fairly large shots of heroin every 4-6 hours.

Basically I am saying, trying to kick 70mg methadone after ~15 months daily was beyond hell. Worse than all my dope detoxes combined.

60mg morphine IV will definitely bring you some relief. How much? It's hard to say... But I am fairly certain it will put a decent dent into your withdrawals. You can go back to the clinic though, right? Or are you trying to fully detox.. ?

man,think this kind of IV dose while in w/d would be a lifesaver!lots of people have to use codeine,loperamide and kratom.

I think that if you still haven't done it,and you feel pretty crappy,it should give you a nice little rush,mood elevation and kill the GI discomfort.

I just want to add some quick recent personal experience.

When I wake up in the morning,I usually fix 100 mg's of morphine sulfate IV.
then 2 smaller doses,or 1 more the same size later on in the night.

I was in w/d and took 60 mg's of methadone.It helped,but I still felt slightly uncomfortable and having stomach cramps/watery stool.

This morning I woke up in w/d pretty bad (hadn't done a shot in about 20 hours) and had 2 30 mg morphine tablets.I prepped them both and IV'd them.Got a surprisingly good rush and all symptoms alleviated.

So for me 60 mg's of IV morphine helped the w/d from a `~200 mg/day IV morphine habit much more then 60 mg's of oral methadone did.

This could all be because of cross tolerance or w/e,or that I use morphine and it just satisfied me more mentally,and also got to use a needle,which I'm sure made a placebo like difference.

WTF are you talking about? Do you mean "some opiates"? Morphine is a chemical. The only difference would be different salts, ex. morphine sulfate/morphine hydrochloride. But it's still morphine.

Looking at the narcotic equivalence charts and convertors, I'd say that it would definitely help with the symptoms. Just be careful combining with other CNS depressants, like the diazepam.
