I did some Tango lessons a few years ago with my then girlfriend. It was so much fun, I have two left feet but so do a lot of people. Good craic though
 
You know what? out of all the BLers for some reason I think You could actually dance with me Mugz.

Be warned I'm a swingdance kinda girl.
 
OK, we are organising a meetup and Mugs and Sadie are dancing. Proper style dancing, mind.

Had a job interview today. Strange one, basically just a chat. I think they go through multiple rounds of interviews, so this one was just to get to know me and find out if we got on alright. I thought we did. I'd take the job, but I'm relaxed: I think the competition will be pretty tough.

I only chose to be the goalie as I get so knackered playing on field and I have an important tennis match tomorrow that I really want to be fit for, so I can move up the ladder. Didn't expect one of the other teams to ask me to play in goal for them after though.

I had a great first game, but the second game was a nightmare :| Conceded three goals through my legs, lol, conceded about 9 goals against one player who knew I could never dive as far to the very corner of the goall and he had practiced that shot soo many times he always hit it. Made some good saves though too. In the first game I conced 4 goals, in the second game I conceded 22 :o I did make about 10 great saves, including a double save that was certain to go in. They should have scored over 30 goals, still doesn't excuse some of my butter finger blunders and my lack of strength. I got my hand to plenty of the shots but as they were so powerful then just powered through my hands :( Need to get stronger, lol.


Anyways, enough about football, had an nice night with work mates and footie mates, and it has made be think twice about the move to brizzle that I am 90% sure I am going to do, dropped down to about 80% after today as I had a good time.

Lots to decide over the next couple of months while.

That sounds good. Been through a few rounds myself, its a pain in the ass but eventually something will come along thats feels right. I think the main thing is not to get too down with getting rejections
 
Brush up on your dancing before you hit South America Migz and you'll be on to a winner, Latina chickas LOVE to dance and if you can actually bust out some salsa, tango or samba moves you'll be the gringo that every girl wants. :D

Oh and learn how to dance to Reggaton (cheesy South America dancey-pop music), that shite is so popular in Latin America, the birds love it. It's not quite so difficult as proper dances like I mentioned above but if you can do it you'll do well with the ladies.

Morning EADD.

All fresh and raring to go after the first alcohol-free day since last week's stupid and disastrous relapse. Okay, so 'raring to go' is an exaggeration, but it feel good to have made it though the first day (again) and it's now up to me to keep it up. Though seeing as my health and my remaining friendships depend upon it, then it's obviously worth pursuing.

Set off yesterday on what was supposed to be a ramble round the hills with my ex, but had relied on Monday's weather forecast, so we got caught out. Caught in the biggest downpour I've experienced all year, as it happens; me in my woollen jacket and my ex resplendent in her cardigan, both obviously sodden before long.

As hill-walks were ruled out we went to the nearest town (think Royston Vasey kind-of quasi-gentrified) and had to stop in a pub (ironically) as every alternative sanctuary seemed to have oddly restricted opening hours. Once-thriving small-towns becoming dormitoryville. Depressing thought.

Despite this we had a great time, and in the ultimate 'v' sign from nature, as we walked back to the station some blue sky appeared and we felt the sun on our backs. It had to happen that way, I suppose. :)

This was followed by dinner on our return to the urban sprawl, then a smoke in the evening before we realised it was late and she should probably get back. Which is still an odd and slightly sad feeling but we're still so close it doesn't ultimately matter as long as we're there for each other.

So I didn't get any rambling done yesterday but I certainly rambled above. Sorry 'bout that!

Enjoy Thursday and take it by the horns. There's a world out there that's waiting for your contribution, whatever that may be.

MORNING PEEPs!!!

I had about 4.5/5 hours sleep max, woke up to find BDD in a bit of a state so just spent the last half hour cleaning it up :| lol

Nevermind eh :)

At least I have managed to get myself up and awake for work today, aching lots and lots and worried about my tennis match later feeling like this. Hopefully will be alright.

Gonna quickly jump in the showever while I still have time.

To be fair, Crackhead is more of a scumbag than Mugz is a mod (if that makes sense...) :D

I'm not 100% sure that Spade is the best person to be giving advice on pulling in South America. What was it, one drunk backpacker, and numerous pissed-off Brazilian lasses smacking you in the chops? ;)
