First Time DXM use. Any suggestions for enjoyable trip

Well this friday me and my friends are going to be doing DXM and it is there first time doing it. We will only be going to the 1st or 2nd plateu but I don't have to much experience with the drug (that being said I'm competent with handling it and know the dosages).

Any suggestions as to how I can make there trip enjoyable. Activities? Movies? Anything I should tell them? Anything else I should know?

smoke a little weed, listen to music. i've never considered dxm a social drug, as CEVs are more intense than OEVs.

if you make music, either on a computer or play or an instrument, that's a lot of fun on lower plateaus, where you can still move around.
 
turn off all the lights, eat a light meal before dosing (so u dont have the munchies), and bump the tunes yo!
 
take a benadryl before dosing. stop the roboitch, or roboitch will make you it's robobitch.

also, lemon juice taken with the tussin balances the pH of your stomach to better handle all the thickeners and syrup.

enigma is my favorite artist to listen to while dexing.
 
Another question,

If somebody starts getting anxious or has a minor bad trip can I give them some Diphenhydramine. I know it's not a good first line of defense but I can't get my hands on any benzos. If I could give them a high enough dose (50-100mg) then wouldn't that just put them to sleep and save them from there trip or potentially harming themselves?


Edit: Lol don't laugh but my friend wants to know if he can skateboard while on a small amount. He does this all the time when he's stoned.
 
give them a single 25mg benedryl. maybe even tell them it's a benzo, the mind is a powerful thing. benadryl is a CYP2D6 (the enzyme that metabolizes DXM into DXO) inhibitor, meaning it will affect the levels of DXM to DXO

Honestly I found I could still skateboard surprisingly well on 300mg
 
Everyone has different preferences for activities or things to make any one certain drug more enjoyable. When taking dxm, I personally find it absolutely amazing, when I lay in a room, have a blacklight on, and just plug in the headphones and listen to music. Some music is definitely going to make the trip better, depending on your musical preference.
 
Also, each medicine containing dxm will give you a different trip. I find cough syrup to be more enjoyable. Mucinex isn't bad but tastes terrible, and may end up making you puke..
Anything containing acetaminophen will do damage to the liver, so hopefully you stuck with the syrup. But either way, hope you enjoyed the trip!

Meaning it will increase DXM levels or decrease them?
 
with CYP2D6 inhibited, there will be higher levels of dxm and lower levels of DXO

Sorry for my ignorance but from my understanding the outcome of taking diph with DXM is that the DXM trip will be stronger right? If thats true wouldn't that kinda ruin my bad trip plan?

How about as an alternative I was thinking a moderate dose of Aripiprazole might help somewhat. It's pretty useless but better then nothing I suppose considering it might leave my friend too drained to do anything stupid should worse come to worse.

The benadryl will not have an much of an impact on the strength of the trip, but it will stop the roboitch, which is massively beneficial. Grapefruit juice can be used to up the trip intensity if that's a route you're looking to take, but diphenhydramine is more useful to increase trip comfort and for helping encourage sleep afterwards.
 
Watch dexters laboratory on dex. It'll trip u out. Planet Earth is the best thing u can watch for a good trip. Dxm makes me wanna dance and dubstep is my favorite kinda music. I also liked the show cow and chicken. Opiates and weed go very well with dxm. Video games not so much unless its super Mario bros, super Mario 64 or banjo kazooie. I would start drinking or popping around 5 pm and make sure u only get syrup with just dxm in it because the other stuff can screw u up I hear. Throwing a frisbee or disc is fun in open fields. Bring a boombox and instruments and build a fire and have some ppl make music and the rest tribal dance around a fire. Go with the flow and your surely to have a good time. Just don't drive obviously. Have someone sober drive u through a city with lots of lights. My best trip was riding back from tahoe after snowboardin all weekend. I took 300mg the common dose and sat on a couch and watched inside man. I remember the first and last minute of it. I sat on a comfy couch and felt like I was in an igloo at the ski resort. It was the best feeling. Have fun
