Fascinating man. Obviously on the autistic spectrum. The biography Shakey is probably the best rock bio ever.

It's just a shame Lou's voice was shot for that album so Doug fuckin' Yule had to sing so many songs. Though he does a good job on that one.

Ever hear of the Lou Reed gigs in the seventies where Lou no-showed and they sent Doug out in his place? I would've been livid!
