Yayyy, I FINALLY feel like I did something successful / worthwhile, after feeling like the past few weeks were a major waste of time. It was tiny, but I'm happy!!

Nearly broke also...
I'm hoping my $500 cash back rebate comes from tafe soon..

You're not even drinking? I mean, I'd count that, it's effective enough a GABAergic. And being broke all the time isn't so bad (yes it is), I mean I've been broke nearly non-stop for a couple years now...you'll survive. Just gotta pull through till you get that cozy apprenticeship you're going for.

Hmm, well, i've had alcohol 2-3 times in the past 2 months?... :/
Only once of which I got drunk.
And that once, turned out horrible in my experience aha.

But yes, hopefully so... the cheque for the $500 should come in the mail tomorrow, I shall try get it before my parents do... and I believe i need to spend a bit of time away from them, so see if any mates can hold me up for a few days-weeks whilst paying rent and job hunting.
Hopefully that goes well! :)

Haha you and I have similar taste in many matters, good sir. That sounds like a great way to spend a night :D Read my copy of Gatsby for the third or fourth time a few weeks ago. I feel an odd kinship with Gatsby, I think I've felt that same sense of longing that defines his life.

Alas, no alkey-hol for me though. I have this residual problem from benzo withdrawal called blepharospasm where my left eyelid twitches around and spasm annoyingly... apparently alcohol exacerbates it (FML) so I have to stop indefinitely. Its been like losing a close friend or something, I'd give anything for a couple sixers of Magic Hat and a bottle of chivas... go on a nice bender :D

blepharospasm... so that's what its called. Sometimes my left eyelid goes all twitchy crazy. For me its probably stress/alcohol related.

^eye wiggles on MDMA is called nystagmus.

Blepharospasm is a spasm of the eyelids, not the actual eyeballs.

Yeah I've read that alcohol and stress are the two biggest causative factors next to benzo abuse (hence why I'm abstaining from zie booze). The biggest culprit seems to be the triazolo benzodiazepines like etizolam and alprazolam, though; with etizolam especially it seems to be practically guaranteed to happen at some point. From what I've read, blepharospasm seems to be caused by aberrant neuronal activity in the basal ganglia.

those shits were PROPER, they put you out like a LIGHT.
and they kicked in faster than damn near any other drug orally IME (i was never dumb enough to snort em, i knwo they aren't soluble in water...)
and the moar i read the temazepam wiki the more i am facepalming that i fucked up and lost my script
 
restoril is by far my favorite benzo :) i don't have access to them anymore either though. they went great with DXM... any other benzo i'd take with DXM wouldn't really alter the trip much, but temazepam added to both the open and closed eye visuals, and the closed eye fantasy. i'd imagine a similar thing would happen with K or MXE, who knows though.
 
Oh man, DXM gives me a case of nystagmus somethin' fierce. Can hardly see a damn thing during the peak! =D

Man, benzos are pretty scary, I'm glad I don't often bother with them, at least with booze tolerance is never really that much of a problem, I'm sure if I tried replacing it with benzos tomorrow I'd end up with a ridiculous tolerance before summer ended. I don't wanna mess up my GABA system too badly, I'm much more comfortable with the idea of maybe developing another small opiate addiction for a while at some point, when I start purchasing them again (which won't be till I have income and a decent connect). Though if the good barbs came back I'd be properly fucked.

Sucks that you get bad blepharospasming :(. Though that's a really fun word to say.
