Hi Bluelight!
This is my first post, and I'd like to discuss the vaporization of methoxetamine, as I cannot find much information on it, and I have my own experiences to share. Searching "vaporizing methoxetamine," etc, doesn't really lead you anywhere. Some reports of vaping methoxetamine are as such:
"It's more cold and impersonal"
"It works, but it requires much more material"
"The taste plays a major role in the experience, and can ruin it"
My experiences vaping MXE differ very much from these reports. I vape MXE using a VaporGenie (highly recommended, by the way) and the following method: I place a small layer of cannabis over the screen of my VG, just enough to cover it nicely. Next, I sprinkle a "very small" amount of the powder on top. Unfortunately, I do not yet own a mg scale, and therefore have no comment on efficiency other than it not seeming inefficient to me. When vaped, the powder melts into the herbs at first, making them a bit crusty and difficult to stir. Then it vapes, and the mix becomes stir-able once again. The taste, as noted by other Bluelighters, is not very enjoyable. However, I did not find it to play a major role in the experience; it quickly faded into insignificance. The cannabis definitely helps though. I use water filtration through the "mouth-bong" technique (since I'm using a VG, this is my only option for water filtration), and as such I am able to hold every single hit until there is nothing to exhale, the same way I vape cannabis.
The effects are immediate, and for the best experience, the trick is to take as many large hits as possible, holding them in for as long as possible, as fast as possible. This vaporization of MXE results in the most euphoric rush I've ever experienced (I can't say that I've experienced many euphoric rushes, as I've never IMed or IVed anything, but I can't imagine feeling better than vaped MXE makes me feel). The effects of vaped MXE are more euphoric and less psychedelic when compared with rectal administration and insufflation. The warm, opiate-like feeling is definitely there, and so is the anesthesia.
My throat is the first to go numb, followed by my mouth, my nose, my face, my hands and feet, and then arms and legs as the pleasant feeling spreads throughout my body. If I vape enough (or vape quickly), there is a euphoric, amazing body body high I can only describe as feeling like "glowing, good-feeling tubes in my limbs." Pregabalin and increasing the amount of cannabis in the bowl seems to intensify this effect.
The experience of vaping methoxetamine lacks the sensation of "sinking down into a hole," which is how I feel when dosing rectally. Indeed, I feel as if I am floating up rather than sinking down. The visual effects are lacking a bit as well, although I didn't experience visuals dosing rectally or insufflating (although I didn't dose very high with those methods). As far as therapeutic and mental effects go, my experience is that vaporization is just as effective as other methods for both a long-lasting antidepressant (afterglow?) effect, and the experience of seeing your life from another perspective, something commonly sought-after with psychedelics and dissociatives.
When vaping methoxetamine, my mind becomes very clear, and the insights come one after another. To get the most benefit from this, I attempt to write down all the ideas and valuable thoughts that come into my mind. I find this a much harder task when sinking down towards the m-hole. It's true that my handwriting is slightly more difficult to read when written in this state, but I can still read the majority of words without too many problems. After the rush starts to fade, the effects last for two to four hours or perhaps even more as they taper off. The effects stay the same for the most part, they are simply less intense for the remainder of the experience.
I have only had one scary/un-enjoyable experience vaping MXE. I was already too high, dosed too much weed, too much MXE, or both, and freaked out. My heart was beating very quickly and it scared me quite a bit. I phoned somebody to come over to check on me, and calmed down with their help. After that part, I felt like I was in heaven. Taking deep breaths helps very much when freaking out, I strongly recommend it.
Due to the scary/overstimulating experience noted above, it does not make sense in my mind to attempt an m-hole through this ROA. In fact, the experience itself is so different from other ROAs that it's almost like a different drug. Besides, the insights are just as valuable (or more) to me than the insights and thoughts I get with other ROAs, making them seem rather pointless.
This method, as you've probably determined from my descriptions, begs to be re-dosed. I re-dosed many many times, at one point vaping it every day for four or five days. Some days I would just wake up and dose, not caring about anything else. On those days I would re-dose every time I came down, all day long. It can be difficult to resist. I realized that I was abusing this and had to give someone my MXE and vape and tell them to not give it back to me until a certain date. This solved the problem. However, when I stopped using, some things were a bit different for a while. For example, my first day without vaping methoxetamine after my four/five day binge, I had sudden bouts of laughter at simple things. I laughed so hard that I had difficulty standing up, similar to some of my first cannabis experiences. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not normal for me. These effects went away, and the only remaining effect is a spaced-out looking field of perception, although this could be attributed to other substances or lack of sleep.
From now on, I plan to only use MXE once every two weeks, just to be safe. In addition, it is not likely that I'll use other methods than vaporization very often at all. Vaporization simply blew me away. I speculate that the reason my vaporization of MXE was so successful was both my technique (holding hits in for a very long time), and the VG (which seems perfect for vaping powders, as long as they're on top of a layer of some kind of plant matter). I did not try vaping it with a non-active kind of plant matter, although I plan to attempt this the next time I dose. I do have a very high cannabis tolerance, however.
If you're going to try vaping methoxetamine, I strongly recommend starting with just a sprinkling of powder, vaping hits in quick succession and holding them in for as long as you can. Use the re-breathing tek if you have to.
I'd be very interested to hear about other people's experiences vaporizing this compound, and also your thoughts on my experiences. Thanks!
