Lyrica Opiate Potentiator

im trying lyrica (pregabalin) tomorrow for the first time..ive heard its a good opiate potentiator? i will be using 0xy 80mg OC's and maybe possibly some benzos (i have tolerance to both oxy + benzos)

my question is what would be a good starting dose for the Lyrica? should i take the lyrica before or after the oxy and how much time before/after? should i even bother with any of the benzos?(temazepam,diazepam,clonazepam,estazolam)

i only have 4200mg lyrica (pregabalin)

200-350 mgs is a good starting dose. it goes great with all opiates imo, and is safer then using benzos with opiates. however, i still use opiates + benzos+ lyrica hahah. but anyways the effects are similar to aplrazolam, except the increased sociability. it makes me ramble on like a motha fucka hahaha...im on 400mgs right now had 2 beers 1 shot of vodka + 1mg klonopin and shit is euphoric as hell. everything is blurry but i feel so fucking good fuck this fucking world i just want to fuckin escape.. sorry /endrant
 
It should work at the doses recommended above. I don't recommend mixing any GABA drug with opiates and alcohol, however, it's just too easy to take that too far.
 
^^ yeah i accidently nodded out for an hour. i don;t remember how i got there or what i did before i fell asleep, but when i woke up i was a littler delirious, then i came to and i felt fine. then my friends and gf came over and i took one shot while they were playing pong. that brought back some warmness again. then at around 12am they left and it was just me and my girl, and we smoked a couple bowls and now we are chillen watching a movie and i feel good. not really high and euphoric like roxi but i have a positive outlook, my body feels good, and my mind is in a good state.
 
Gonna have to get a hold of some Lyrica & see how good this stuff really is, I hear nothing but good things about it.
 
well ive now just consumed 300mg in a total space of around 1 1/2 hours and waiting to feel anything....i have weed aready to roll, i have benzos ready to ingest and now all im waiting on is my oxy's ;)
 
Check out the mega-opiate-potentiator thread. It's got information on Lyrica and pretty much every other opiate potentiator under the sun.
 
Lyrica works on the gaba receptors- it's a stronger form of gabapentin. Taking it with alcohol or xanax can intensify the effects because they also work on the gaba receptors.

I have actually heard of it reducing the bioavailibility of opiates, but there's no proof for either direction. Let me know what you think of it, it might just be the sheer amount of different drugs that adds to the high
 
I havent taken any opiates but the Lyrica (2x75mg followed by another 2x75mg an hour later) 300mg in total has definately had some effect on the 20mg valium and the 4mg clonazepam that i took at around 8am...its now 3.30pm

The joint i smoked at around 8am worked well also.

I wouldn't even bother with benzos if you're going to take Pregabalin, that should potentiate your Oxycodone enough and I think the benzos distract away from the opiate high. I might would had 50mg Diazepam when you take it though if you're trying to nod.

Take the lyrica 90-120 minutes before you dose, I found this is the best way.

This is a little late I guess but the dose you were looking for was 450mg. If you only felt a little then I suggest you try 450mg next time. Everybody I've recommended that dose to has gotten real high and that includes people on this website.

Thanks but ive now had 600mg spread out over the course of about 12 hours...im yet to ingest my oxy...probably sometime within the next 1-2 hours....ive also had a fair few mg of clonazepam and diazepam.

I think its best to take it all at once and only redose if you want the effects to last longer. I would have taken that 600mg at once or at least 400mg and then 200mg a couple hours later. The effects last a long time from my experience, over 12 hours. But it depends on the dose. If you take a large dose at once the shit will last forever. I guess redosing would have it lasting a real long time as well.

Next time take the entire dose at once, you'll feel higher.

Ok thanks again i ended up taking 900mg Lyrica in total......i dosed another 300mg Lyrica about 1-2 hours ago and now ive just ingested my OC80 :)

Throughout the day ive probably had only 6 mg Clonazepam and maybe 50mg Diazepam...i like to be under the influenceof benzos when i take opiates.

I have more oxy OC80's, Lyrica, Clonazepam,Diazepam,Estazolam and weed left,il just see how this goes............=D

Is it normal to feel like a zombie the next day after taking hydrocodone & benzos together? I see alot of people say the like the opiate+benzo combo. I didnt mind it when I first tried it but ive begun to dislike the combo.

I still like the opiate+Soma combo, its teh best.............:p

depends on your benzo, when i first started with benzos, klonopin and valium would have residual effects lasting into the next day. its not really of a hangover per say, and it they are very slight, effects, and they are really passive..just sort of a relaxed next day. it is easier to deal with shit. but with xanax i dont feel anything the next day. if i drink on klonopin, yah ill wake up with a worse hangover then just drinking alone...

however, if you take benzos every day you will probably not feel any effects at all.
the reason why you might be tired the next day after you take benzos is because they disrupt REM sleep, so while it might be easier to fall asleep, the quality of sleep isnt that good and thus making you feel drowsy the next day...


i personally think lyrica + opiates + valium blows opiate+soma out of the water, no questions asked...but i dont even get really any effect from soma, i just feel a little tired and it isnt my fav drug
