Nope they wouldn't give me one, said I had an addictive personality !!, figure that out if you can, clearly I have an addictive personalaity thats one of the reasons I'm drinking a of half a litre scotch a day

I've been self dosing foe 4-6 weeks but last week I had to suddenly stop taking my SSRI due to intestinal bleeding, its triggered panic attacks and once again the GP seems unwilling to prescribe anything other than a new AD Mirazapine!! hance the increase in my benzo use and my concerns over how I'm gonna come off

I've recently switched from booze to Diaz but I reckon I'm doing way to much, I have an appointment with a drug councilor next week but would really value some "data from the field"

I've taken Diazepam on/off since august 2008 now. Anywhere between 5 & 40 mg in a day.

Recently (last 3 months) ive got through 700 mg, which to me is a lot. I used to say 'always stay under 100mg every 14 days' which i still feel right about.

These days i can get through 30/40 mg per day or under. I struggle to go under 10 mg per day. I like a 5 in the day & 5 to sleep or just 10 mg at night to sleep. Right now i'm just using precribed zopiclone to sleep at night but i'm getting some lower-strength 5 mg diazepam on tuesday...

Thanks for being so honest about your usage, I did have a script for a while last year for Zolpidem but they are to short acting for me and I ended up just abusing them like every other substance I come into contact with and even when I wasnt I'd fall to sleep then wake at 4am with no chance of furtherr kip.

I'm heading to that 700mg in 3 months, if not more, point at a rapid pace, I could go back to the booze but this is so much easier in so many ways
 
I have just returned from a holiday in Thailand. Every time I go there, I buy valium over the counter in a chemist on one of the islands. It's supposed to be prescription only, but they'll happily sell it if you ask nicely. This time they were 10mg Roche Tablets, in a blister pack of 10. They also had 'made in thailand' alternatives which were a bit cheaper, but I went for the Roche ones.

I am no real expert on Benzos, but I took one on the flight home, and it certainly seemed like good shit. I'll be saving the rest for comedowns, and maybe the day before my wedding!

As an aside, also smoked some lovely thai weed out there, you just need to make sure you buy/smoke it in certain bars - they normally have an agreement with the police to allow consumption of weed and mushroom shakes on their premises. You can identify them by the rasta colours normally! But whatever you do - don't smoke it on the beach, you could end up in the worlds worst prison!
 
out of all the benzos and their half lifes, how do you find in each one in relation to their 'duration of effect'

Like Valium has a stupidly long half life, but i usually only feel the effects for about 5-6 hours, Clonazepam has a medium half life but i feel the effects for a good 10 hours or so.
 
Zolpidem's short half life is a mofo if you're not sleeping through stress, as you say you just wake up after three hours and you're back where you started. I found that combining them with melatonin put me down and kept me down but I don't know if that'd work for everyone. Think I might do that tonight actually, I could use a proper kip.

Thats a lot of Scotch per day. Were you able to cut down your drinking at all ?
I was drinking a lot of vodka at one stage but I managed to reduce it to a few beers over time. I didnt use benzos but it was doable , also weed can be good to take the edge off
 
cant smoke weed it gives me bad anxiety, which is ironic after a 15 year daily habit for hash.

Since moving to Benzos I havent had a drink at all, its the devil and the deep blue sea !!

The Benzos and the nnew AD Mitazipine seem to be gving me a reasonable kip, I find I can tend to wakew about 5:30 but either go diown and watch the tely, which for some reason often mqakes me nod back off, or its off up the woods with the dog but with that one its finding the energy/motivation.
 
I used to love smoking weed, but I had to stop because it makes my heart race to a VERY uncomfortable degree. I also periodically suffer from palpitation based panic attacks, they are extremely uncomfortable and normally occur at bedtime.

I am thinking of buying some Etizolam to allow me to smoke weed again, but Wikipedia stated that Etizolam can cause blepharospasms which sound utterly horrible.

Have you tried hash ? I cant smoke weed for the same reasons but hash gives me none of that (well it didn't for a good 15 years)
I have no idea why ( maybe one out more learned friends could explain) and I also appreciate good hash may be more difficult to obtain.

I smoked hash for years before moving on to skunk. A few months ago I tried to buy some hash because it is more mellow than the skunk and therefore I thought it would not effect my heart so much as you say.

The closest I could get to hash was a type of cannabis which was referred to as 'Pollen'. It was still quite strong and my heart still raced to be honest.

I have stopped smoking since then, although I did do a few tiny skunk pipes which I dealt with reasonably OK, but my heart still races.
 
If i can remember clonazepam is one of the least amnesic benzos about isnt it? Im still recovering from stopping gbl (i think i just blacked out for 2 days on xanax lol), but ive got to go see relatives tonight, was thinking a 2mg clonaz so im not anxious (still mildly withdrawing from gbl)

I have vals and xanax but dont want to mong out and look fucked, i think its clonazepam that has the least sedative qualitys and also doesnt fuck your memory much either.

I know the best option is to stay in the house, but not really an option tonight. But yeah any suggestions?

Any tolerance issue with having etizolam two nights in a row? (aside from the psychological thang)

Lucky man I mostly had to make do with soapbar, mind you that was before it turnd to utter shit, Pollen is pretty strong stuff. If you can only get pollen ( I jhavent smoked for nearlt 1o years now) not sure what elsee to suggest.

Have you trieed any of the syynthetic replacements from the RC sites ?? not sure what there blike didi some JWH018 but it was as bad as th weed for panic attacks

i doubt 2 nights but i did notice it seems to build tolerance a bit faster than the only other benzo i've taken daily, bromazepam. i did use it waaay too much when i first bought it though. and frankly it was a lot faster. i was scripted bromaz for nearly a year and didn't notice tolerance issues but quickly doubled my doses on this.
