So according to GlobalRPH and their Narcotic Converter I came to this conclusion:

~ 1 Mylan 50ug/hr Matrix Patch contains 5.25mg of Fentanyl within the Matrix.

~ GlobalRPH suggests that 5.25mg of Fentanyl = 1050.00mg of Oxycodone.

~ When I administer, Bucally, a 50ug/hr patch and leave it in, essentially the 1.05 grams of oxycodone would send me into a Coma most likely.

~ So what I don't get is how is this now working? HA, don't get me wrong I don't want to get into any type of Coma, and I want to be safe, but if it is so strong and I know that it is release in increments, I was told by a buddy that claims to be the: "MASTER" of fentanyl and said Five (5) hours of buccal administration is sufficient enough to extract all from within the matrix.

Could please someone explain this to me? I would like to get the most out of my patches. I know that the ROA is still isn't as efficient as transdermally, but even at half, 0.975 grams of oxycodone should stop me dead cold..

Please help? Am I losing this opiate? What am I doing wrong..

Much appreciated to anyone throwing in their '2-cents' of value..

How do you figure that half of 1.05 grams of oxycodone is 975mg of oxycodone? Last time I checked 1.05g / 2 = 525mg but I certainly could be wrong.

There is an alcohol extraction method out there, I haven't tried it, but I've tried everything else you can do with these, and the best thing I've found is to wear it. Yes, half that patch would knock you cold, you aren't releasing anywhere near that much. You can probably find the alcohol extraction method around here somewhere.

It has to do with the short action of fent compared to oxycodone so you can't directly compare them like that. The fent is absorbed over 5h or whatever meaning that some has time to wear off before the next part hits. Taking that much oxycodone over that time would have almost none wear off.

You need to remember while a conversion chart is an excellent guide to opiate dosing, fentanyl and oxycodone are very different drugs with very different methods of action and duration. Fentanyl is extremely short-acting, and obviously you will not feel as if you took oxycodone. You may feel not high at all, you may feel extremely sick, you may feel intense euphoria, but its not really fair to try and compare the two head to head.

With the matrix patches, I usually just put the thing on my arm after cleaning it well. Then I introduce heat to speed the process up. An extremely hot shower works quite well, but I'm usually nervous about getting it too wet and having it fall off. It doesn't always fall off, but if you get a little water in between the patch and the skin the adhesive won't stick back on you quite right.

A blow dryer or heating pad is much more effective. Try not to over do the heat because you can and will blister, I've done it and it sucks. You should probably do 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off with a heating pad, and no more than a couple minutes with the blow dryer hitting it. Just remember you will adjust to the heat levels and while it might not 'seem' so hot cause you're trying to get fucked up, it IS hot and you WILL burn.

I usually save the buccal ROA for after I've worn the patch for 3 days.
Usually by day 3 I'm coming off the fentanyl pretty hard so if anything putting it in my mouth feels like placebo.
When I do put it on my gums, I like to pat dry my top gum and cut a length off the patch that will fit. Don't swallow your spit for as long as possible and try to keep salvia from getting in between the patch and your gums. It only works for so long before you have to swallow so just try and stretch it out.

After a lot of trial and error, I've found this method the best in 'milking' my patch for all its worth.

edit: I also like to slap my arm where the patch is located during the heating phase, I have a (probably untrue) theory about the slap making blood rush to the spot, which in turn helps move the fentanyl along from my skin to my bloodstream.

Also, keep in mind that patches take a long time to start 'feeling'. and if you start to feel sick, take the thing off. Fentanyl ODs are not pleasant.

That's definatly the smart way to do it. I used to scrub the skin on my arm or back where I was going to place it vigorously with soap and water, scrub it raw almost. Then I would dry it very well, and put the patch on there. I would then lay on a heating pad for about an hour or so like this. This would usually just crunch the effectiveness of it down to two days. I had a good tolerance to OC (I was more on opana, I'd do 80mg of opana a day), and wore a 50mcg patch. I had to pull it off after about 20 hours because I had thrown up about 7 times already. The bad thing about wearing too much of one of these is it takes 12 hours for it to get out of your skin. In the above episode, after taking the patch off, it took 10 hours of laying down before I could even stand up without puking.

I've also got myself into that position a few times, haha. It certainly can be a wake up call, fentanyl can give extreme euphoria, but at the same time if it gets over done you'll get very sick. Puking crazy, lips bluish, gray faced, the whole nine.

The problem with patches is that you're so preoccupied with getting high you don't even notice how fucked up you are until it's too late and you're puking. You can't exactly measure a dose like you would with pills, which is why I said conversion charts will only take you so far. A good guesstimation tool, but not something to gamble your life or even just your well-being on.

OP, if you have a mild-moderate opiate tolerance (I'm not sure what your tolerance is like), I would tread carefully. Either way just try to test the waters while wearing the patches first. I understand the anticipation of the buzz can be intense, like I was saying over-shooting it isn't worth it. You can't get sick off of an under-dose.

You could also try slicing the patch in two, slapping half on and see how you feel the next day. It takes around 4+ hours for me to even start feeling the fentanyl, and sometimes it'll take me 12+ to realize i've done too much.

I consider myself to have had a pretty good tolerance to opiates when I was at my 'patch peak' if you will, and have found out the hard way how easy it is to over do it. Everyone thinks they're invincible at some point and fentanyl is a potent humbler.

edit: also, remember that oral/buccal ROAs will result in large amounts of fentanyl loss. Theres no way around it really, some gets in, most gets swallowed involuntarily. swallow = loss. I can't even get off if I just try straight buccal. It does help with the adjustment phase at the end of the patch cycle though, sticking it in your mouth helps a bit, but has yet to get me fucked up.

Back when I was doing a lot of oxycodone I was lucky enough to come across some patches a couple times. Even with a tolerance I'd only used half a patch and would also put it on my skin.. Boy would those things get someone fuxxxed up! I recall puking maybe once or twice but I'd still have a great high goin for almost 2 days or so. But yea be careful with them cause I know a couple people who overdosed on them, and one of them unfortunately passed away. Be careful!

Yea, I've tried every way you can do these things, I've tried the buccal shit, I've tried smoking the gel after scraping it off, smoking plastic and all, Pretty much everything short of just plugging the whole patch. Wearing one like I outlined above is the only way I've ever gotten a buzz out of these things, and it lasts two days really good if you do it right. DO NOT OVER DO IT THOUGH. It takes 12 hours for it to soak in, so if you OD, it will take 12 hours for the levels of narcotics to go down. Sometimes longer. When people od on these things wearing them, they have to give you narcan over and over for 12 hours, its very very dangerous if you aren't very strong. BTW, 50mch/hr = taking 300mg of oxycodone per day. Don't wear that patch if you aren't doing atleast 150mg of oxy per day, or if you could handle booting like 90mg at once. That patch will humble you if you don't have good tolerance. If you have no tolerance, you might meet your maker.
