Drug Balloons?

Hey Guys

Recently I have been getting H from a single person on the street who I go and meet who has balloons in his/her mouth, now they always want me to put it into my mouth after I have paid them however I just chuck it in my pocket.

Is there any diseases that you could contract by putting it in your mouth if there are no cuts? Have any of you experienced this before?

Herpes simplex 1 comes to mind, right off the bat.

Any salival pathogen could potentially infect you. Tell him to piss off if he wants your money, you don't know where that shits been. He doesn't trust you to not rat on him? Fuck him. Don't sell heroin on the street. Dumbass.
 
Normal to get it in balloons but I've never gotten it from someone who had it in their mouth. Actually never occurred to me why it's in balloons but it makes sense for mouth stashing :P

Not sure what cuts have to do with it. Yes there are many diseases you could contract from putting the balloon in your mouth after you've gotten it from someone who had it in their mouth.

That's gross and I'd tell him no way if he insisted that. I've only copped drugs from the street a couple times so not sure how common it is.

If he's reliable and has good stuff + you have a habit, I can imagine telling him to piss off might be hard. Just tell him no nicely, if he keeps at it say you'll go to someone else, or organise somewhere to meet him that he fells safer.
 
Yeah fuck that, no way I'd put balloons into my mouth after getting them off a street dealer.
 
yah, screw that right off. i'd be extremely hesitant IVing it as well if you were that way inclined.

it's pretty common in some parts of the US for dealers to conceal balloons and bags of drugs in their possession, in their mouth while out on the street doing their thing.
 
although i have not personally experienced putting a balloon in my mouth, but i have chewed my fair share of old meth baggies. andbaggies are sharp corner and stuff. i'd imagine a balloon is much more confortable to stash in your mouth for long periods of time
 
Id tell them to shove it up their ass and keep it. No way would i put something in my mouth after its been in someone elses mouth. U can pick up literally dozens of viruses and who knows what sort:S
 
I thought most smack dealers over east that sell of the street have it in their mouth (concealed in a balloon)? Im just goin off some shit I watched on foxtel about the lebos 'drug empire'...
 
From what I know I hear it is fairly common for street dealers to keep heroin balloons in their mouth, although the little exposure I have had to the street scene while the dope came in balloons it wasn't in anybodies mouth.

They aren't party balloons like Get him to the Greek would probably make some people think but generally it is a small rock or amount of powder (under 100mg) wrapped up in celophane or foil off a cigarette packet and then put in a little water balloon which is tied off.

It is pretty dirty shit when you think about it and I wouldn't be putting that shit in my mouth, to be honest if he was that much of a paranoid freak he HAD to conceal it in his mouth I would ask to pick it up nearer his joint at greater effort to myself it it meant he would feel comfortable not putting it in his mouth.

While it is doubtful any spit would get through a tied off balloon AND whatever packaging inside, I could probably not help but be concerned. I am fairly sure the right sized micron filter can filter bacteria out so I would be using that to be safe. Also be thorough washing your hands after carefully removing the gear from the packaging whilst ensuring the dope touches neither your hands or the outside of tha packaging it came in. It might be easy to forget after you open up your little bag of goodies that you now have your dealers spit on your hands but not washing them at this point could be an easy way to get a dirty shot.
 
its common in the Portland metro area in oregon to get it in balloons. usually its a point to a half gram, and they carry lots in there mouths, my guy would always tell me to put it in my mouth and i just faked it to keep him happy, then pocketed it or kept it in my hand for easy ditching.
 
I think out of all the mouths in the world, a street level heroin dealer's is probably pushing on the extreme end of unhygenic.

lets look at a few things:
1) they are probably using the heroin themselves. Probably injecting. You have no idea if they are using safe injecting practices and not infected with HIV or Hepatitus. So your potentially in trouble if you both happen to have cuts in your mouth.

2) Its winter at the moment, and a shit load of people have colds or the flu. This makes it a good chance of catching a cold or the flu.

3) As DM said, I would be very concerned about his saliva somehow getting in the smack and then you injecting it.

4) thats just gross putting that shit in your mouth.

keep doing what your doing and not put it your mouth. better yet, see if you can meet him in a safer location where he won't put it in his mouth, or find a new dealer.
 
Okay, so I agree that putting a balloon of freshly spat out hammer into your mouth is absolutely disgusting and would never be able to bring myself to do it

But how many of you that find sharing a little bit of this drug dealer's spit so repulsive have also pashed a total stranger in a nightclub etc etc....hmmmmm? Worth a think about :)

Honestly risk of infection is extremely low - a cold is probably about your worst outcome.

But then again I would probably not put a balloon in my mouth that had just come out of someone elses - just because it's a bit icky; not because it's a serious infection risk ;)

theres that chance that you prolly will actually take that stranger home, whilst i duno if you would take your dealer home unless thats how you make payment.

and how many people go to a club sick, i know if i have a cold i wouldnt go to a club but most dealers will still sell if they have a cold
