DiTM Social + General Discussion

I have not been directly affected by the disasters, so life is just as it always has been.
...very relaxed, happy, peaceful.
(I live in a small city, far from Tokyo.)

I love it here. The people, the landscape, the food, the possibilities for where I can fit in the culture...
Only things I dislike are a) many people simply categorizing me as a "foreigner" and not being able to relate to me as a "human being" (since I look different), and b) the incredible anti-drug laws.

However, the vast majority of people in my native country also categorized me and were unable to relate to me as a "human being", so that is not really different. There are a small number of people here that have no problem relating to me as a person, and I consider them my friends. The same was true in my native country. So, there is really no difference.

Now if only I could get some good drugs...

That's the gist I've gotten from other people that have spent time there. But like you said, that happens to a degree everywhere.

I'm glad you're enjoying it.

As for the their drug scene, I've heard pot and amphetamines are the most common over there. And even those are a bit hard to find.

I read in some TR, that there are, or used to be sidewalk RC peddlers in Tokyo. That sounds pretty sketchy though lol!

Fuck a chillum, right? I mean they're straight enough to smoke out of and it is possible to hit them without getting salad mouth, but they're certainly more prone to the salad giving than other pieces.

Why Never Read About Perdue Pharma Factory Robbery, but Pharmacy every night.

Ive been wondering this for a while and I guess I'll post it. With the OC Epidemic getting as bad as it was before the new formulation; Pharmacy Robberies occurring seemingly every night, I wonder why no group of pro criminals tried to break in to the manufacturing plant where the pills mere boxed up. Maybe they did?

I'm thinking those places have armed guards with machine guns, but the drug cartels (created by our so successful war on American rights, or Civil Rights Violation war), have the resources to pull off something like that. I would think so.

I was just imagining the conveyer system pushing through 1000 80's an hour.
It would be the ultimate score for the cartels. Maybe we (US) should officially starting backing the drug cartels, at least maybe be a possible tax break or two.

Just killin time.
