i have an auto-immune d/o('s)(SeroNegative-SpondyloArthropathy), and so much has been looked at, but nothing can be explained except it seems almost every-thing is off to different degrees.
:-\

my blood has been dug-into so many ways except the actual 'type' as a whole. my blood is 'type O-' - IDK i guess i thought maybe to take a look at the forest for a change, and did learn some interesting things - but im now curious as to your blood type(mwuhaha) and any hereditary, reoccurring, or chronic health conditions you may have; and care to share.
... in the name of science?!
;-D

- maybe its worth mentioning i am diagnosed with bi-polar and have an affinity for alcohol and cocaine(surprise surprise) - and marijuana -

also FWIW: no this was not brought to mind by a 'blood type diet' although yes i do not do well with sugars, and feel in the fight of my life for actual protein these days...

Not sure if I buy into the "issues due to blood type" phenomenon, but I'll play along, lol:

Blood type O (not sure on the negative). Used to have a bunch of allergies--Dropped 60+ pounds and they vanished. The only lasting issue I have that developed when I gained the weight (90+ in nine months [no I wasn't pregnant]) is Raynaud's.

Hrm... As far as mental health goes, I did suffer with depression for many years while eating crap food, so who knows if that's linked.

Struggled with addiction (mainly to marijuana, but also to stimulants and opiates/opioids) for many years (in a different time than the above, though the above did transcend some time-frame "boundaries").

Hrm... If more detail is needed, I'll be back!

Interesting thread, pip. :)

is there any correlation besides 'junk' that you were eating gaining, and not eating while losing??

personally i was curious about allergies, i can hardly tolerate most any medication(even as far as anti-biotics;besides those made with penicillin) and many foods-amino's-enzymes-B vitamins etc. adrenal gland instigators are worth mentioning; for exapmle prednisone&albuterol are awful for myself.

O- and have neither A or B 'antigens' connected to the cell, only A,B antigens in this type's plasma matter rather - so it seems some allergies could be an issue in some cases if O-, perhaps...?

While gaining the weight, I was eating pretty much anything and everything that your typical American eats. Lots of processed foods, ice cream, cookies, chips, ... I think the major reason I gained weight (aside from excessive calorie consumption) was some medications I was on, which increased appetite and lowered satiety in addition to slowing metabolism.

While losing the weight, I was a "junk food" Vegetarian and eating mainly processed foods: Imitation meats, white pasta, Hot Pockets, ... I just watched what I ate as far as calories went and followed basically a 1700 calorie menu, even if one day I cut lunch down a bit to have some ice cream later. ;)

So, in my opinion, I don't think I lost most of my "weight-gain allergies" from a healthier eating pattern--I think I lost 'em from simply losing the weight. *Shrug*

I have no idea... despite having countless blood tests done for various things.

Must remember to ask my doc.

Interesting coincident which has to researched for myself as OP and I have same blood type and allergies. I allergic to nearly everything is green and living :)

And I am bipolar too but that might not play a role unless allergies somehow can induce bi-polar disorder in persons that have the genetical likehood for it to happen.

Interesting indeed. You ruined my night by giving out this kind of thought which I must look deeper :)

Btw I have my blood type tattood in my armpit. Everyone should tattoo their blood type. But dont tattoo it into a place like arm or leg which might separate your body or notbin to your chest which might sustain injury that renders it unreadable more likely than in armpit.

^ haha good idea for a tattoo if you're say in the armed forces? :)

Alrighty my blood type is A+. My physical health is pretty good at the moment though I have a family history of heart problems and have haemochromatosis. Mental health is a whole other issue though, have battled pretty severe depression, anxiety & an ED for years, along with comorbid drug and alcohol abuse... :/

No allergies, asthma, etc though.

Yeah I got my tattoo of blood type in army. And truly suggest everyone joining army to do so even that it should be on your documents that you carry with you too. But the reason why you end up being treated by medic may have caused it to be burn or something else. And also some people even left it to their quarter.

I also have a two snakes on a list and under them my medical condition on my breast.

Yeah I got my tattoo of blood type in army.

I got the same tattoo for the same reason. type O+ and for the lulz, the tattoo is just above my left elbow. (and yes, I've had a few people accuse me of being racist because of it..but I am not, I got it there just to troll)

no physical health issues at all. (hell I am still active duty) and ADHD for mental health, which is not really a big deal.

I don't think medical issues can be linked to your ABO and RH factor type.

If you are injured and unable to communicate, medics will be able to still give you a transfusion should it be needed.

Neither do I, Perpetual Indulgence. Nor do I care, really.
I recall when this blood-type diet fad exploded a couple years ago, and read much on it, but subsequently came to the decision that it was indeed poppycock. Coincidental anecdotes and pseudoscience weren't enough to sway me. I even tried it myself, and it amounted to no difference in health.

If it works for you, then that's great. It might work out great for you! Do what you feel is best for you.

Hi dear,
I am Variant of Henry. My blood group is A+. I have no issue regarding the blood. I am a normal healthy person. You should use the fresh fruits juices especially Apple juice and Carrot juice for the blood growing purposes.

A+, my temperature is on average about 2 degrees below normal... but that's because of mercury in fillings I think. I have a lot. Allergic to various foods and substances causing many issues ranging from in the past infections, before I took more control- with awareness of what I was allergic to, to now (and then) pain/discomfort and mental instability. I don't think blood type can be linked causatively, but what do I know? It could be a factor. Also suffer from fructose malabsorption disorder which basically means fruit is out of my life for good... as are most vegetables. I can handle very small amounts of certain things.
I feel my best if I just eat about .6 lb of wild salmon. :)
