I know in the guidelines you talk about not wanting people to post in all caps, as well as I see you've disabled someone being able to post with all caps, but would you guys consider letting someone who's post is just one word in all caps?

I made a post recently where I quoted someone and all I said was QFT, and I was only able to post it as qft. I can understand how someone posting entire posts in all caps would get annoying, but what about if it's just one word, and they would want it to stand out? Like another time I wanted to just post CONFIDENCE, and only that word, but couldn't make it all caps

It's not that big of a deal just a suggestion

I dont think theres a way to do this, there are ways around the filter, but we usually try and encourage more than just a single word post anyway. ;) Especially things like "QFT", if thats all you're going to say... however if you expand on it, then you can still say "QFT" AND have it be in all caps. :D Best of both worlds. Notice how many all cap words I have here? Its because with my explanation I have plenty of lower case words to get past the filter. ;)

Yeah I need it to stay around otherwise I would be tempted to just do this when moving threads.

OD>>BDD

Instead I have to give an explanation because

od>>bdd

looks kinda lame.

There is not a setting that would allow it. CAPSLOCK filtering is an all or nothing choice in the software, so we allow people to annoy the crap out of us with all caps, or we suffer these inconveniences of providing something more than QTF or AWESOME or GTFO or UTFSE or ILOVEYOU. :\ The price for today's last year's technology ;)

I'll show you one more time...

OR YOU CAN JUST DO THISi

^ I CAN YELL ALL I WANT WHEN THERE'S TALK ABOUT CHOPPING OFF MY HEAD.I

Lawl, okay, I'll stop. 'Tis a nifty trick to get past the filter though. :P
