First time with LSD

Alright guys. After the many questions I have posted up here, I decided to return the favor and post my trip report. :)

The night started around 6pm. We had 3 hits each, but decided to start with one since it was everyone's first time. It was just me, a friend, and her bf.

About an hour later we begin to feel a wierd feeling, kind of like the tiny rush you get right before you begin to roll. Sort of anxious. Then we all decide to just go for it and take another hit and a half each. By this point (around 7:30) all of us had taken 2.5 hits. (We were also told this stuff was weak).

A while after the anxious feeling wore off, we started to laugh. hysterically. Everything was funny, and realizing how fucked up we were just made it funnier. This lasted for about 2 hours.

Once we hit our peak, colors were changing, everything was incredibly bright (since it was dark by now, it was super easy to see our way around the dark), and objects and details had the "throbbing" or "breathing" effect goin' on. Super trippy.

We watched wierd movies like Party Monster, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Kick-ass, and Enter the Void(briefly!). During these movies we all noticed the colors kept changing on us. One minute the movie would have a green tint to it, then a magenta tint, and shadows seemed to get more bold and create an outline effect on the actors' faces. The movies were also EXTREMELY bright and vivid. The scenes would changes from vivid, to almost blinding with little detail, then vivid, then normal, etc. This lasted through most of our movie watching.

There was also a point where my friend and I took a walk (people came over with weed and my friend isn't comfortable with that in her house. Kind of funny considering we just dropped acid...). On our walk (around 10pm) we noticed how much the street lights and the moon were glowing. They all had a glowing ring around them, and we just stood there for a while staring. Then we cracked up because we realized how silly we must have looked. Then we had this incredible urge to lay down in the grass, but living in the state we do, where everything is always wet, we decided not to. Next time we will!

The trippy effects had worn off around 2am, but it was incredibly hard to fall asleep. Whenever I closed my eyes I would hear the tv and sound seemed to make me have the "throbbing" effect inside my body. I can't really explain this, but it was just hard to get comfortable. So we ended up staying awake until 5am, and eventually we drifted off to sleep.

The next morning we didn't feel wierd, just tired from not getting a good night's sleep.

There was also a point where we all just stared at a trix cereal box (beginning of our peak) and were amazed at the color changes and how vivid everything became. I have the video of this, but I don't think I will be posting it anywhere ;)

Overall, my first time with acid was a BLAST. Much more happened, but I can't find the right words to properly describe it. It was not as "trippy" as I thought it would be. I did see the colors and breathing effects, but for some reason I thought I would see things appear. This did not happen for us, and the high was just a very clear and crisp experience.

Although I was advised against it, I did look into the mirror. I stared at my eyes, and when I did that the rest of my face started to melt. This made me crack up because it just proved how high I was on the acid.
I was also surprised at how much easier it was to communicate and process info than I had originally thought. This eased my anxiety towards the drug.

also, when I began to come down, I got a really annoying itch. It just spread all over my body, and even though it was easy to ignore, it was annoying. Anyone else get that?

So, I hope I did okay for my first trip report, and I hope you guys enjoy! :)

Thanks for sharing.
Its something ive yet or not yet to experience and am in two minds whether to or not.
(A friend said if in doubt, Do not do, Only do if your really sure you want to)

Thats a good point though about looking in the mirror.

I dont think id want to, not on my first trip anyway.

What about music and sounds? How was they sounding, I know you mentioned the Throbbing. I thought scott pilgrim vs the world was weird enough to watch when clean and sober lol.

It sounds like you got some good hits from the report.

LSD is NOT as "trippy" as people think at low doses though. Not to say there is anything wrong with the amount you took, infact that was probably the most perfect dose you could take for a first time. That is an awesome highly recreational yet still psychedelic zone that I absolutely love, so fun, so fun...

Getting close to the 10-stip zone and above is still incredibly fun, but you will be lost in your own mind more so than interacting with friends.

Even when LSD gets super trippy at high doses you will find that ultra high definition super crips tone to it is still present if not more pronounced.

You got a taste of it.

I highly suggest looking into mirrors while on psychedelics, not for the "visual" aspect to it but when you are going deep enough on high doses it will stimulate your mind in some crazy ways and really just opens the door to a tidal wave of introspection.

Not that you cant get introspective at any-point in a trip, but if you really want to trigger it... go look at yourself.

Sounds were amazing! At first we were watching Kick-Ass, and the sound seemed a bit muffled. We couldn't tell if that was us or the movie, but we didn't care.

Then when my friend and I went on our walk, it seemed as if we had supersonic hearing. It was like every apartment we stopped next to, we could hear everything going on inside. I don't know if this was just made up or if we could really hear what was going on, but it was SO fun nonetheless.

Music was fun too! I didn't really notice any drastic difference, but I found that the song had a huge impact on my mood. For example a dubstep song came on and it just made me feel gritty and anxious. Then a mellow trance song came on and I felt at peace, etc. So in a sense I guess you could say music did have a huge part in this experience.

As for not being ready, I say go for it. Before I took the acid I was a nervous WRECK. I didn't know what would happen, I was anxious, excited, everything. Then once it kicked it, I was okay with everything around me, and was put into the best mood possible. The laughing gig helped with the nervousness as well :)

So no major insights at all?

Not that I can say...
The whole experience was just really fun and light-hearted. We didn't get too deep in our emotions or insights. Plus the acid was super weak so 2.5 hits was just enough to get minor hallucinations, and a wierd (but enjoyable!) body high.
