Paracetamol Help

Ok, I have some pills it's DXM, All I need to know is if it's safe to take 4,800mg at once, Please don't tell me 4,000mg in 24-hour is recommended I know this, Question is am I going to die from take 800mg more? Will I be fine? Respectful and serious answers apperciated, but please hurry I want to start tripping.

Also, If i could get to the store, or even had money to go get Dylsem with only DXM, I would so don't tell me don't do it and go to the store and buy some, thanks.

no, it won't kill you. taking high doses of tylenol like that to trip on DXM is a terrible decision making though. but it's your decision, and that is not a lethal dose.

How so a terrible decision? I am only going to do it once, and i'm not a heavy drinker, Ill have a beer here and there.

Liver damage is a serious possibility with that dose. If you drink on it, the possibility basically becomes a promise.

There are many, many OTC products that contain only DXM available...so there's no real need to put your liver through that sort of pain at all.

Question, is it going to kill me? I no its going to be hard on my liver but it won't permanitaly damage it.

Like I said, I no that there are products with pure DXM , but I have what I have atm and no money or a ride to the store.

Liver toxicity is a huge concern here. DXM is metabolized a good bit by the CYP2D6 enzyme in the liver. While nowhere as much as DXM, the NAPQI metabolite from the paracetamol is also metabolized to an extent by this enzyme. Forcing the DXM and the NAPQI through the liver really puts a strain on the liver, which can possibly result in toxicity/damage.

Not a smart move IMHO. Get the pure Delsym. (Sorry, I know it's not the answer you wanted to hear :/)
