What about sublingually? Should work, shouldn't it? But I mean this should only provide faster onset time, and not sure how well sublingual dosing works with diazepam.

Yeah, it works, but the bioavailability isn't much different from oral. Benzos work great orally/sublingually, and not so well via other ROAs.

There's a commercial prep on the market for rectal use (it's a gel).
